Before you die, you see The Ring
 

Anyone seen The Ring? I finally got around to it this weekend. It was impressive for the most part, and somewhat suspenseful. At the beginning you're like :eek:, then you're :confused:, then your're back to :eek: again. There are a couple parts that make you go :rolleyes: and :unsure:. There's even some :lol: and a bit of :(. But for the most part it's a lot of :eek: and :WHOA:. Anyway I recommend it.

i saw it a long time ago, awesome movie i thought. quite scary.

I loved the movie. Great thriller

It was scary........... I jumped twice in that movie..........hell a girl infront me screamed out when they gave the flash of first girl that died. In fact I heard some girls also hurried out the theater and dragged their bfs along with them.



BTW that white guy at the end should have dropped the T.V in the ground and then run like hell to his gf's apartment and get something sorted out but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo............oh yeah I never did understand how the tape came into existance.:confused:

There are SPOILERS here obviously.




The tape came into existence at that mountain lodge. That girl had said that they filmed a game of football but when they tried to watch it it was something weird. The VCR was directly over the well, so it was in the prime spot to receive the girl's psychic impressions.

Haven't seen this movie yet, it's no longer in theatres here, I'll have to wait for the DVD.

The original is a lot better (japanese). :D

I saw that a while back. It wasn't bad, though really it wasn't too impressive, either. The end was pretty goofy. Basically the tape just turned into a sort of chain letter. Anyways, I saw the Japanese version that Shadow_Link seems to think is so good. It wasn't bad, either, but it also wasn't much better than the American one.

i saw that movie way back like the first week it came out, i found it cool especially the part when they showed the girls face at the beginning that was awesome, and the sae with the guy at the end, and true the movie did just ended up being some sort of a chain letter for people to stay alive,

Sounds :cool: but I'm a bit :unsure: coz I hear it's really :errr:

I thought it was sorta :zzz: with a little bit of :) but too much :unsure: I wish it had some :beerchug: and a few :vader: Oh well.

Notice all the water imagery? It was either constantly raining, or there was the ocean, the well water, the guy in the tub, scenes with glasses of water, puddles on the floor, dripping doorknob.

It's finally out in Europe for a couple of weeks now...

I saw it yesterday: sick. Has to be one of the scariest movies I've seen.

Horrible, how they saw everything from the tape in real life... :eek:

When they had found her body, and everbody was happy, I was like 'No, it can't end this way, this is not scary enough'. :D

Can't they just give the tape to an old man who's about to die? :D

I woke up twice this night... a combination of the annoying fly in my room and the effect of the movie...

Cool movie, but I don't wanna see it again :unsure:.

I just saw it for the first time like 3 weeks ago, and I was liking the movie, twas entertaining and scary until the sorry excuse for and ending. That ending just didnt cut it for me. Twas lame and not at all scary.

haven't seen it ....dunn really like horror movies, fear dot com was ok, but thats about it. Oh but i love the classics,

You've got to be kidding, right? I was terribly, terribly dissapointed. I actually didn't see the American version because I wanted to see the "much scarier" Japanese verison first. It was just bad...not scary, the actors and actresses were annoying, I don't understand how that is considered great by some people...

I thought Ringu was kind of boring.. :unsure:

I've only seen the American one and I thought it was pretty good.
