Favorite Movie, that recently came out.

What is your favorite movie you've seen, that is the theaters.
Why do you like this movie you've chosen, or what movie didn't you like?

I still didn't see any of them but i will soon!
I might go see Eight Crazy Nights, or Die another Day, but i wanna see 8 Mile.

Bube 12-01-2002 02:55 PM

I voted for Harry Potter.

Out of the movies on the list, HP is the only one I saw, but the others I'm not interested in. Just want to see Die Another Day, but since I like Harry a lot, and I thought the movie was good, I vote for HP: TCOS.

DeathsHand 12-01-2002 03:04 PM

I've only seen Die Another Day... which was nice... so yeah...

I can't think of many other movies I've seen recently... I think before Die Another Day, the last one I saw was... Jackass...

Dragon-Fly 12-01-2002 03:04 PM

Well i heard that Half Past Dead, is an awfull movie, cause they shoot, seagals seen by his back, and you can tell, it's a substitute person, replacing him.

So they actually kill the substitute? If not, then why use a substitute if it's not a dangerous stunt? Stupid move...

Jason1 12-01-2002 03:38 PM

I havent seen any movies on that list...last movie I saw in theatres was Jackass...so I voted non/other.

December 14: The Lord of the Rings; The Two Towers. :D

I guess I'm the first again who's going to see it here! :p

Advance screening tickets.

DimHalo 12-02-2002 04:00 PM

I voted for Harry Potter. I haven't seen the others, but am also not really interested. (except Santa Clause 2) I still am pretty sure that Harry Potter would still be my favorite.

Raymond Miranda 12-02-2002 05:07 PM

Jackass and The Ring.

The Ring is freaky and give me nightmares.

jeepnut 12-03-2002 12:01 PM

Harry Potter with out a doubt. None of the other movies really interest me. HP on the other hand I consider one of the best movies of the year...at least until TLoTR:TTT comes out. :D

Angrist 12-04-2002 07:59 AM

It's TLoTR:TTT dumbass! Don't misspell it! ;)

jeepnut 12-04-2002 02:07 PM

Well excuse me. I will edit promptly.

Doctor Zhivago 12-04-2002 07:01 PM

The movies on that list are pretty awful. Just the big blockbusters that I try to stay away from. So I voted other. Really, the only movies I've seen this year that I actually liked are Insomnia, Punch Drunk Love, and Femme Fatale. Minority Reort was pretty alright, Road to Perdition wasn't that bad, One Hour Photo had potential, but lost itself eventually, and Blood Work was, I guess, a pretty solid murder "mystery". I saw Die Another Day, too. That wasn't too bad. Probably the worst Bond film after Moonraker, though.

jeepnut 12-04-2002 07:34 PM

I really want to see Bowling for Columbine. Can't find it anywhere though. Guess I will have to wait and hope I can rent it.

Peep to that...I really wanted to see that also...I also need to see Punch-Drunk Love and Comedian among others....I think the best movie I saw this year was The Royal Tenenbaums, of course that was about 11 months ago...Actually, Spirited Away was definetly my next favorite, it's a fantastic movie.

Dragon-Fly 12-05-2002 08:40 PM

Hey, has anyone heard the new movie, with Rob Schinieder, sorry for mispelling his name, But his new movie "The hot Chick".

Lol, It really looks funny.

Doctor Zhivago 12-05-2002 09:09 PM

I should break your neck for saying that. The Hot Chick parody on South Park actually was funny, though.

yeah...Rob Schneider is a Stapler...heheh...that was a great episode...I really hope that John Edward saw it...

Doctor Zhivago 12-05-2002 09:51 PM

You fool, John Edwards can see everything! Seriously, I bet he's just a huge floating head in a secret chamber somewhere. And he always introduces himself as "The great and powerful John Edwards". I watch The Wizard of Oz too much. I feel like a little boy.

I thought The Royal Tanenbaums sucked....majorly. It was made out to be a lot better than it actually was.

Well...I guess that's why people have different opinions. I thought that it was a very funny movie and I think that Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson have made some great movies over the last few years (Rushmore, Bottle Rocket)...

magus113 12-06-2002 07:40 AM

8 crazy nights was pretty damn good (although it seems like i am the only one who has seen it
