Well, Jason and I found a new game that plays like LoM, but in my opinion, better.

It's called Helbreath. Learn magic, customize your character, Hack in Slash, Guilds, the like.

This was the first night I played it, and I must say, That was fun. Jason and I played as a party, and we both got killed after being surrounded by slimes.

The downloading servers at the official site are too slow. This one will go pretty fast. The installation part is a bit long, but not that much. So.. come one... come all :confused:

Yes guys, if your still alive, please give this game a look.

Its a lot of fun IMO, and amazingly it runs alright on my 400mhz POS computer. Its not that hard to learn either.

I downloaded it... but the file was corrupt. :(

I installed it, but I can't make an account.

It keeps saying System Error...

Bluefire said he had problems with that also, so you may want to talk to him. I had no problems. I signed up by starting the game, clicking new account, and it brought up an internet explorer window where I signed up...Im assuming that how your doing it.

im downloading it...it better be better then LOM :unsure: that game was a peice of crap compared to like diablo...

im hoping this game will have much more items magics, skills, etc...

That happened to me too. The error in signing up. I closed the game and everything... Then I went on the game later and tried signing up and it worked.

i also get the system error thingy, i was just wondering though, is this MMORPG free?

and how many different characters are there, like classes...

I think the server might be down right now. I just tried again today and still nothing.

Yes, it is free.

And you pretty much set the class when you start. Warrior, Mage, or Master. Or you can customize your character to be whatever.

i'm curently lvl 10...stuck someplace where i don't know where...and i have no clue WTF is going on...my Char name is Happydude6 ...umm...yeha...so far the game sucks and it's pretty boring....but thats prolly becuas ei havent played much...

It has its flaws, but you cant argue with FREE. You just cant. Especially a MMORPG

You're just spoiled with Legend of Mir because you get a character off of Night Stormer who pays for it..

You start off in the Beginner's Zone. There will be a few slime pits here...a good place to level up. Next..

There are two portals in this area. One that leads to Aresden (the one Jason and I are citizens in) and the one that leads to Elvine, an opposing nation to Aresden. Once you are level 5 or so, you can apply for citizen ship to the current city you're in. Once you apply for citizenship, you cannot go back to beginner zone and you are vulnerable to attacks from people of the opposing nation. To become a Citizen or Combatant of the town, go to the City Hall, and talk to the City Hall Officer (Pick offer when you click on him).. From then on, when you die or whatever it may be, you will wake up in Elvine/Aresden farm. From there, you take a portal back to your town. That's it.

You learn magic by leveling up in INT and MAG. You also need Gold to learn spells. You go learn spells in Magic tower or Magic Shop... whatever you want to call it. You attack neutral animals like rabbits by holding CTRL then clicking on them. You equip weapons, armor, and clothes by opening item bag and Status/Equipment screen, then drag whatever you want to equip to the equipment screen..

This game is very good for a free one... and it's not easy to keep a free MMORPG when there are a lot of users..

i teled to some town...but i don't know what town..i 've been to city halll, but i didn't want to get citizenship cause i wasn't sure what town it was :unsure:

Uh... It says the name of the location under your stamina bar (green bar).. Remember the two cities are Elvine and Aresden.

me and BF are like the two most pimped out people in Ardeson.

Hey, do you guys have a guild yet?

If you don't, then I think we should all make a guild for ourselves. That would be pretty cool.

Oh, and, I am now at lvl. 10 Ardeson Combatant. Where can I go for battles and leveling up besides the barracks?

We need someone with Charisma leveling up high so we can start a guild.

And Blackmane, you can also go to these large grassy areas surrounding Aresden.

lol, oi! nothing can beat Legend Of Mir :p It's just soo damn addictive, heh, can't wait untill Evils Illusion (the sequal to LOM) Which is about a billion times better with more skills, items, leveling areas, support, features, music, graphics, ect., ect. ^_^ untill then, it's just about the same as it was in beta (besides 3 new mini leveling areas, 1 new dungeon {spider cave} and bout 50 new items). lol, happydude, you know you loved LOM, admit it ;) you just had to re-visit old times :p

btw, i know this is old news (and srry bout the successive posts) but wut happened to the game tavern home page? I really like that, with all the gaming news and such.... And i also really liked the old red and black look of GT. *snif* i miss the old times... :( especially when my avatar pure evil did up for me wasn't as sketchy as my currently modified one (shh, don't tell dyne :p)

hey it's NS....whats up...you still play LoM..that game is boring :unsure: all it needs is alot more items, and then it'll be alot better...it should have more class specific lvling areas too...

so yeah...i might get NWN for christmas, but my parents don't give me any presents, so i'll extremly lucky to get anything...

Yes, I have spend a lot of time leveling my warrior and now I have built a guild. I named it GTRAC for now, but we can change it to something else if we agree on it. Otherwise, it will be cool to all play together so I can actually level and get some goodies too.
(my character has such boring stuff)

What exactly are the Advantages of being in a Guild anyways? And how do I join?

I think we have to be there at the time Blackmane is on Helbreath. That wasy he can let us join the guild
