Finally I am proud to own an Xbox
 

Only because of one game. Splinter Cell.

Played 1.5 hours of it, and it's so good.

That's all I'll say.

Graphics are excellent, the lighting looks awesome.

I still think this should have remained an Xbox exclusive. Xbox deserves to have this game exclusive.

So much more indepth stealth than MGS2, even though MGS2 isn't soley stealth (or is it?).

Just seems more fun to play for some reason. I will let you all know how I progress through the game, but right now I'm loving this game.

I liked it, but it didn't make me completely satisfied in purchasing an Xbox. Whereas this game definitely does!

And I bought the S type controller which is MUUUUUUUUUCH better than the original!

Actually I didn't buy it, my brother gave it to me.

I have used the S type also, and it is mighty good, I will admit. Way better than that hunk of crap that is the origional. Too bad I will never own an XBox

I hate you for saying Halo didn't justify owning an Xbox, but it's all good...;)

Anyways, what level are you on now? I'm in the Defense Ministry, and the graphics are drop-dead gorgeous...game's pretty hard, though...gotta figure alot of things out on your own...

I just say a commercial for this game, and let me tell you, it looked SWEET on my TV. Crisp graphics, a cool looking everything. Have you guys done the thing where you climb a wall, and do the splitz, and like.. act like your spiderman?@?!?!?!?!

Anyway, so for those that have Splinter Cell: How would you rate the game so far on a scale of 1 to 10?

So far I'd give it a 9.4...but I haven't finished yet, so it may end up being a higher or lower score when finalized...

I'm up to the first level still. I've gone through the door with the access code.

I was reading a review on it @ Gamespot, and they were saying how it's "trial and error" gameplay for Splinter Cell. I mean I agree it is, but it's a stealth game. Nobody can get it right the first time. If you have stealth games, "trial and error" gameplay comes with the package. I wonder if they mentioned this about MGS2? :unsure: Coz that was trial and error as well.

And about Halo, I liked it! As a FPS, it had some issues. One I could hardly hear that lady talking for some reason. (the purple girl). It was like she was whispering. That pissed me off coz I was trying to get into the story, and half the time I missed out on wot she was saying. The gun variety was a bit weird. Like my mate asked me what the best gun in the game was, and personally.........I thought it was the Shotgun. Then he gave me this weird look. And I think there should've been more guns!

But it wasn't a disappointment, it was a great game, just didn't justify my Xbox purchase.
