Metroid Fusion
 

I saw my friend play this game on his GBA today at school. I know what you guys are gonna say "but it doesn't come out for another week." Well my friend has a blank cartridge for his GBA and he can put roms that he downloads onto it. I just don't know how Metroid Fusion was already online. I wish I could have had a chance to play, but there was only like 5 minutes. The graphics were awesome and my friend seemed to keep a fast tempo while playing, not saying that the game is short, but once you get used to it you really get into it.

why dont you just download the rom on your computer and play it for yourself?

Your friend is sinning when he buys a blank cartridge that can store rom files on it. And because this game isn't out yet, it's a double sin.

Oh you think I'm lying, well I don't really care, so I'm not going to make a big deal about it. And the reason that I didn't get the rom is cause I don't feel like it. I'll probably end up getting the game for christmas.

How the hell would it allready be on a rom if it isnt even out yet? This defies all logic to me. Are you sure it wasnt Super Metroid you were looking at?

Well, if it sounds good, that's because it is. It yielded a 9.5 at IGN, I just read the review.

Yes I'm positive it was Metroid Fusion. Samus had on the Blue suit instead of her usual orange one, plus at the start up screen it said Metroid Fusion. My friend said that he gets all of his roms at ******.com, but he just told me that the site was shut down, but just now I checked the site and it was up.

It's also the site where you can order your blank cartridge and software, cables, etc.

Let Nintendo shut it down! :mad:

I don't think he's lying. There ARE rom's of fusion on the net, and it is possible to download them onto blank cartidges.

Anyway, please don't post the URL's to ROM sites.

I have the game!!! :D (THE LEGAL ONE :mad2:!!)

I had to cycle for 1 and a half hour to get it for 5 euro cheaper, but it's worth it! :p
Cool story so far!!!

Ive beaten it.. im goin around getting items i havent collected...

Just some thoughts on the game... The story is a lot deeper than super metroid but the thing is that its much more linear.. theres no more aimless wandering around trying to figure out what to do next... through out the whole game someone is telling you what to do :unsure:

It actually took me a few tries to figure out how to beat that dude... you know.. with the mechanical face sorta that cires out green stuff.. and makes you really heavy... then i figured it out and it was easy..

O sorry about that. Well anyway at gbxemu you can't download anything so it doesn't matter.

Metroid Fusion is cool, but that stupid linear computer thing is annoying me. You go way too fast through the game! 'Go to sector 1' Ok so you run to you target, save it, beat it and run to the next one. :unsure:

But it's still cool. :D

later on it will stop showing you were your target is :unsure: i think..

i played metroid fusion and its a great game. brings back the super metroid feel but with a twist of new excitment

I must really suck at videogames because its taking me quite a few tries to beat some of these guys.

Me two. You have to find out what their weak parts are (takes about 3 seconds) and how to dodge their attacks (can take a few tries). :)

well i played from an emulator :unsure: whenever i made a mistake i would start over :unsure:
