Advance wars question
 

It used to be my friends game and his file is still on it........so it always says JAMOKE and i cant get rid of it..........any ideas how to take that name off so i can make my own?

also, when the enemy attacks me i cannot shoot him back its wierd......but when i attack them they shoot me.

I remember I had the same problem...It should tell you somewhere in the game's manual.

i dont have the manual tho....my friend gave me just the cartridge.

You can probably find out somewhere at GameFAQ. Just look in the Advance Wars FAQ. They'll have it somewhere.

Ah yes, I've been asked this plenty a time before at *cough* other forums. I never remembered how though... gar...

My first guess would be to make a new campaign. If it's not that, then there is no way at all.

Or, you could take the highly unrecommended way. You rapidly turn the on/off switch. Don't do it though. This forces the battery to be depleted of everything. Never do this, they even tell you in every manual not to do it.

Maybe Nintendo planned this. :p

So let me get this straight, you want to change the name without erasing all hte data?

Hmmmm, I don't know of a way to do this. You can always erase all hte date and start a new file.... other htan that, I have no idea how to do it.

i dont care about the data.......i want the game as if it were new.

so like when u first open it, it asks for a name, i want that heh

Oh, then you basically press all teh buttons as you start up. It shoudl then ask you if youwant to delete all data.

I beleive you can find it if you go to Secret of the Sages or pretty much any cheat code site.

That has got to be the answer. I just tried 15 minutes looking through the manual, trying things, all that. If that's not it, nothing is. This must be the 1 mark off of the IGN score. =o
