October 29: what will you be buying?
 

on October 29, 3 hugely anticipated games will be released, each on its own console. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on PS2, Phantasy Star Online: Episodes 1&2 on GCN, and Shenmue 2 on XBOX.

Now I dont know about you guys, but I think thats gonna be some big competition. Although GTA:VC will probly sell the best considering so many people will want it from after playing GTA3.

So pretend you have all 3 of those consoles (unless you do actually have all 3), and you have only enough money to buy one of these games. Which would you buy?

I would buy PSO on GCN.

First choice: PSO
Second choice: Shenmue 2
third choice: gta vc......

GTA Vice City by about 17 lightyears

I bet the winner of this poll will be which ever game is for Gamecube...

Anyways, if I had money, i'd get PSO :p

But not much $$$, so i'll just end up with vice city or not. I don't think i even want it. I got bored with GTA3 :unsure: I want RE0 coming this November, thoughh :nod:

I'd get Shenmue (see avatar and sig), but I don't have an X-Box. I guess I'll have to settle for PSO, but I definatley want Vice City, but I just want PSO that much more...

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City... although I bet it'll be sold out and the like, I don't have it pre-ordered... But I sold SSB:M and FFX so I can afford GTA:VC :D :D :D :D

Probably only Shenmue 2. Just don't got the time to get into PSO.

cuz according to my local EB....... i get GTA VC on the 22nd.

Err... quite awhile ago it was announced that it was delayed by a week... to October 29th... :unsure:

i just called them a couple days ago. they said for people who reserved it they can still get it around the 22nd.


even the EB website says 28th :P still before 29th

I am not paying online charges for that game, I already wasted enough money with Sega on NBA 2k3.

I would choose PSO 1&2.(Considering I only own a 'Cube). But next would be Shenmue 2. Than GTA:VC

On October 29th, next Wednesday, I am going in to a hibernation with my Xbox in my room playing Shenmue 2 until I milk every bit of sweetness out of it. 'twas the reason I bought the thing in the first place. 'nuff said.

I wont be getting any of them(Ill be too busy playing starfox cuz my brother is getting it for his b-day on the 26th), but If I had the money, and had a XBOX, I would get shenmue 2 without a doubt. BTW, I dont see that game selling too well on the X-BOX.

Since VC was delayed a week due to production not being able
to meet pre-orders I think this battle has already been fought
and won by GTA.

I'll only be getting GTA: Vice City. It comes out 2 days before Halloween and the rumours are still spreading. German site Newtechnix is reporting there might be a 2 player mode in GTA: Vice City. I know for a fact that this is BS. Also, they said the main character might be able to swim in water this time.

Damnation! I have like 2 midterms, 20 Computer Science Excercises, one Flash project, and a huge Band Concert to do for that day! NO WAY!! LIFE IS SO CRUEL!!!!!!!!!! :errr:

Vice City all the way. I have this game pre-ordered and pre-paid for.... Hell, for almost 2 months now! I really can't wait for this game.

Oct 29... I'll be waiting for RE:0 in November :p

It's going to have to be Shenmue 2 as I have played the first game to death. then GTA3-V but i think I will pick it up for the PC as it will cost less Pluss I will not have any money left till after Xmas. As for PSO don't really want to play it at all gave it a go on the Dreamcast and it was ok but i don't think I really need to go back to this one.

keep in mind that PSO on GCN is the sequel to the PSO on DC, its not like you'll be playing the same game over again.
