GTA Vice City screens

They are grainy, as they are scans from a magazine...But I still figured you'd wanna see them...

Those graphics look hardly improved at all. But meh...can't expect too much, they're probably using the same game engine.

Anyways, some news for you:

-9 hour soundtrack
-Ray Liotta (of Goodfellas fame) will be the voice of the main character
-Mortorcycles, convertibles and helicopters, oh my!
-Vice City roughly twice the size of Liberty City, and it's all open from the get-go
-40 Weapons as opposed to 15 in GTA3
-120 Vehicles as opposed to 50 in GTA3
-You can walk into buildings including hotel lobbeys, disco clubs etc.
-All new Aiming and combat system
-You can shoot out car tires with a sniper rifle

Well, that is a definite improvement over GTA3. I guess it adds much more realism (sp?) to it. I will rent this game, but I think the Getaway will be better than GTA VC.

IMO, Ray Liotta rules. And Goodfellas owned the Godfather. This game is going all out. 9 hour soundtrack? That is so cool.

that's not gonna happen. most sources say the Getaway plays mediocre, at best...

Graphics are better then GTA3


And id bet a lot that this is better then Getaway.


from what it looks like (with all the new features) this game should OWN.

I agree that the graphics aren't all that much better than GTA3, and new combat system and new aiming system? Why'd they have to fix something that's not broken? I also hate the fact that it's in the 80's... But other than that, this game will most certainly kick ass.

Well, if GTA:VC didn't have all the senseless killing sprees, Getaway would be by far, a much a better game IMO. Unless GTA: VC has a killer storyline and cool missions.

Crono, I don't mean to be a hassle, but that's 3 posts in this thread and you don't even like GTA...I'd hate to see how many posts you'd have in the Kingdom Hearts Explosion thread ;)

And Crono, you don't like the random killing sprees?!?!?!?! That is the greatest part of the game!!!!

I think the game sounds awesome, and it sounds like more of an improvement over GTA3 than I thought it'd be... And the graphics seem a bit more improved too... I thought it would be like... the same graphics heh heh... but the water is see-through and the cars are more reflecty and stuff and the character seem a bit better and the like :hmm:

And is all that other info stuff about the cars, guns, etc. official!? 120 cars? 50 weapons? Motorcycles, Helicopters, etc? :eek:

I am pretty sure that it is official news. It is from some magazine... Game Informant or something. So, I am 98% that this is official stuff.

I think because the people who saved it to there webpage realized that it is illegal to post pictures from magazines onto the web.
