Wow. They have the 2-on-2 battles like that Orange Islands Gym from the show. I really hope there is going to be some type of combo attacks for those battles...

To me, those backgrounds just look ugh(not graphically). They don't look like what I think a background should be for a Pokemon game. And don't ask me to say what is, because I really don't know.

I like everything about it so far except the faces of the characters. From a profile view their noses look higher up than their eyes.

I think all the colors may take away from the gameplay though. To me Pokémon is about having the plainest yet most fun game possible.

I don't care about all these new pokemon, just give me my Venosaur, Raichu, Blastoise, and Charizard and I'll be happy.

I actually haven't played Pokemon since Red/Blue, but this installation looks like it might get me back into the series.

Mmmmm, Venosaur and Raichu will rip anyone apart.

YEAH! I'll be playing this game 24/7 when it comes out.

Will this game have the ability to upload old Pokemon from the Red/Blue/Gold/Silver Games?

If so, I think the team possibilities become insane...

But I hope they don't allow it... and I hope they make this game "Gameshark proof" so the cheaters can learn how to REALLY be trainers.... and they can be real tourneyments.

It might be possible to upload them if Nintendo makes it so that you can hook up 2 GBA's and have one with Pokemon Advance and the other have Pokemon whatever color. Or somehow make it so that you can "swap" the cartridges. Instert GBA Pokemon first, then take it out and put in Pokemon GBC and have it upload. Then swap back in Pokemon GBA and voila! But I think Nintendo will just let players start all over. Since it is a new game on a new system. Why not just let players experience it all over again with new stuff.

One is for trading, one is for battling, and last may be another time machine.

I really hope they don't do that. So annoying trading pokémon from the older games since their stats are totally different in the newer game with new moves and whatnot.

As much as I hate to say this but I bet they will. :(

Hmm... they will at least have the option that you can't control your PKMN when you don't have enough batches...

This game is going to be AWESOME.

... Pikachu, hop on Charizard's back anf fly up into the air and give that Alakazam and Marowak and a flamethrower/thunderbolt combo...

Hmmm... we discussed that in the other thread.... it's possible. Nintendo often uses it's own hardware very well, so there's a big chance they wanna use the 4 player link-up for their most popular franchise. BUt don't get your hopes up.

Didn't Stadium have 4 player battles?

I have an idea what one of the counters might be: an online mode.

Does anyone remember the GBA mobile adapter, shown at SpaceWorld 2000? Well, Pokemon Crystal in Japan used it, so why not the GBA versions? I just hope they bring out a landline adapter as well as a mobile phone/cellphone adapter, otherwise I won't be able to play.....

There's always the possibility of the 'Cube if it costs too much to bring back the Mobile Adapter. That thing fell through. I think they discontinued the service in Dec. of last year(correct me if I'm wrong).

i'd like to see a pokemon RPG on GameCube. that would be awesome.

i'd try doin the same thing but mine would probably end up looking like a picture i'd probably get sued for :D....as for the game, unless it shows any REAL difference from the Red/Blue/Yellow....i c no point in playing it...i already spent WAY too much time with the originals

The Translated names are: Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire. 351 Pokemon full of power :drool: :drool: to kick some @**^&*e cheaters who think they can really play with the best. :D :D

Wow! thats looks good, i didnt know there was going to be a pokemon advance, and i hate pokemon! but that just looks cool.

I wonder what new features these new games will have. Like PKMN G/S had the day/night thing, the berries and best of all the breeding! :D

A game where one can actually catch the most powerful Pokémon, hah, that's a good one. Of course, for those who desire them enough, there are ways. :sneaky:

Apperantly, because a little boy gave my brother a Mew. Dunno how he got it, probably GameShark. :unsure: Is that safe? Won't we get any virusses on our cartridge now??

Yeah, would like to the see the how they improved the looks of the previous pokemon.

Angrist, your mew is fine. It was from a gameshark originally unless your friend attended a special Nintendo event and was given one. Only pokemon to be worried about is Missingno and the 252 level pokemon on the right side of Cinnabar Island. Cool thing is Missingno actually showed up as a real pokemon when sent to pokemon stadium. Looks like a baby rhydon.

Of course, it you got it a high level, it's not going to be as strong as Pokémon that were raised to that level. But the fact that it's Mew should balance that out. :D

Correct. Lengendary Pokémon are supposedly one of a kind but then again, every kid on my block has a Zapdos so... :rolleyes:
