i'm not sure how to spell it...but in the game you control a plane on the bottom of the screen and you fly around killing the aproaching enemies and collect powerup and stuff

does anyone know where i can get these kind of games?

If i am correct I think it was a Neo Geo game and it was on PC.....I think....I would loook for some of the sites for you but I have to go into town to pay some bills and stuff. :(

MAME is an emulator. Just do a search for that on google. Then read up on it and you will know what it is exactly.

umm...sorry for reviving this thread, but i still haven't found the game...and MAME doesn't help...

If you want Raiden, just get MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). I've tried it before and it works fine. Have you even tried a search on yahoo or something for it? I'm sure you can find plenty of resources on it. Can I post a link to a very good MAME site on here?? If not I'll just email you or something.

BTW, since those games are abandonware, maybe I can put the link in a new thread for all to see. If it's ok with the mods. They are abandoned (the games).

y don't u just download a ps emulator such as bleem, copy the game and playit on u'r comp?

If the game's PRODUCERS list the game as ABANDOWARE/FREEWARE , than yes, DLing it is fine, they have "
Voided" the copyright on there game, if it's not "Voided" (NES games arent listed as freeware for example), than it's illegal, however Abandonware/Freeware is fine.
