Pencil or Mechanical Pencil?
 

Which one do you prefer using and for what reasons?

You come up with many rather odd polls don't you Gamemaster? I prefer mechanical pencils, no reason why really.

I prefer regular pencils... I dunno why... but I do... so there...

Mechanical pencils. Don't have to shapren 'em.

Mechanical pencils all the way. Thinner for greater precision, don't have to get up to sharpen them, and you just have to buy more lead for them instead of an entire pencil (which means you save money. Very important when you're a college student).

Mechanical for stuff and regular for drawing...except when I use mechanical for drawing...in that case add two scoops of flour and preheat the overn to 350...being sure the harness is strapped on tight to the water buffalo...

Mechanical!!! So, I guess that is new school. :confused:

They rock. I like them because they are cheap, and I do not have to sharpen them. I suck at sharpening... I always sharpen one side too much. :mad:

Pencil better for traditional drawings, especially doing gradients and tints...

mechanical ones always break.. and I just love to sharpen ;)

I like mechanical for basically the same reason everybody else does....I just hate it when you run out of lead....

Now that just hurt :(

Well, it depends, sometimes mechanical for neater work, but normally a pencil...

Neither. I don't use pencils - always pens.

Maybe that's why my math homework and tests are always so sloppy :)

well i don't have a favorite..because if i need a pencil i just grab whatever is close. i don't make sure its a regular pencil, or a mechanical pencil. but if i had to chose one, it would be a mechanical pencil..because..i don't know, you don't have to sharpen it.

Yep, I almost always use pens, except maybe for something in Math.

Regular of course. (Mechanical ones break easily)
