Reviewers
Positions available: 2-3

We've been very lazy about this in the past, but we want to build up a database of reviews for video games. Mainly we need GameCube and AGB reviews, but PS2 and Xbox will also be accepted. Only those who frequently rent or purchase games will be hired.

News Writers
Positions available: 1-3

Probably the most important position, we need people who can go out and get news on a regular basis. Keeping the main page updated is a top priority. You'll be expected to visit GT on a daily basis and help to provide regular updates.

Editor/Editorial Writer
Positions available: 1

We're looking for someone who enjoys reading and has good proofreading skills. Also you'll be expected to write the occasional opinion or viewpoint article.

Forum moderators
Positions available: 2

Self explanatory I think. You'll have to visit the boards everyday and read every post in your assigned forum. You'll be responsible for patrolling posts and editing out objectionable content as well as reporting any problems or suspicious behavior to the admins. The specific forum(s) you will moderate have not been determined, but GameBoy and Writer's Guild will likely be on the list.

At the moment I've just estimated how many people in each position we need. I'll update it with more concrete numbers soon.
To apply for any of the writing positions send a PM to myself and PureEvil. If you've already written something you'd like to submit for consideration please do. To apply for the moderator position send a PM to myself, PureEvil, Xantar, GameKinG, quiet mike and BigJustinW. You can edit your buddy list in order to send to multiple recipients.

All the senior moderators are accepting applications, idiot. And the members don't even have to PM us.

I sent in my App, getting tired of FunXbox with it's 9,000 hits a hour, too busy for the likes of me...

If you don't know what a PM is, don't even bother. I do even more sh*t with my PMs than e-mail.

If you want to try out, you have to send some reasons why you think you are more qualified. We cant base it upon the fact that you want to. If you do we will look at your past post...some of you may not like that:p

2 questions.


1) Are you going to tell us if we don't make it? Or shall we find out when all the positions are taken and none of them were taken by us?

2) Are you getting more Apps for a mod postion than the other ones?

when will you know the mods by?

When other mods are hired and those who were not that entered want to know, well its pretty clear that your not hired...

If you PMed about moderation, thats what im talking about. If your talking about another job they will contact you...or post a topic with the results.

To keep confusion on the low-down and out of common courtesy, please PM applicants whether they're hired or not. :)

We received over a dozen applications for the mod positions. It was a tough choice because many of you are qualified to do the job. Those of you who weren't selected shouldn't feel slighted; it's no fault of yours.

The writers haven't been decided yet, but hopefully that will happen in the next few days.

Awwwwww. I didn't make it...


Oh well. I wasn't neccesarily expecting to make it anyway....
