Pizza
I'm sure we probably had a thread like this in the past, but curious how does everyone like their pizza?
Toppings? Crusts? Slices? Silician? The weird tiny ones? |
Re: Pizza
pepperoni ftw
add tabasco sauce. even better. |
Re: Pizza
Pizza rocks. My brother works at Flying Wedge and I pretty much get it all week.
Cold pizza out of a fridge is simply heavenly. |
Re: Pizza
Pepperoni and Hawaiian are my two favorites.
|
Re: Pizza
Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Onions, Green Peppers and extra sauce and cheese is the best but expensive.
So mostly I just rock out Pepperoni. |
Re: Pizza
Anchovies.
|
Re: Pizza
I thought you were a veggie. Or one of those fish-eating vegetarians?
Cheese. Any cheese. Lots of cheese. And some random vegetables, whatever. Oh and possibly pineapple. |
Re: Pizza
I was. Started eating fish about two years ago. New philosophy is if I can bring myself to kill a particular type of animal, I can eat it. So right now that leaves me fish and invertebrates (minus octopuses and squids since I have too much respect for them).

Re: Pizza
I'm on a 11 day cleanse so talking about pizza isn't the most pleasant right about now. I love pizza with all the veggies. Light on the green peppers though.
so i guess, garlic tomato sauce thinner crust olives(black & green) peppers onion tomato mushroom little bit o' pineapple little bit o' spinach and more garlic dudes, I'm pulling a ghandi and not going to eat for a while. wish me luck. |
Re: Pizza
Good luck! Be save.
I know a 45 year old man with the same philosophy... was a vegetarian until he could butcher chickens, cows, etc. Still doesn't eat much meat of course. I always say that all bits help. :) But I have to say it's a bit weird that from all my (10?) vegetarian friends, there are only like 1 or 2 left. |
Re: Pizza
I was downtown on the weekend staying the night at my buddies place, and after coming back from a club we wandered the streets trying different types of pizza. Ironically, it all tastes like pizza.
Anyways, my favourite is hawaiian. I do also really love the thin crush pesto shrimp from Panago though. I'm a fan of the thin crust more than the "regular". I don't like pepperoni, cheese, or anything plain (other than hawaiian). |
Re: Pizza
Most pizza is good for me. I'm into the Buffalo Chicken pizza they do around here. Spicy chicken with blue cheese crumbles, delicious.
Other basics I like are shrimp, black olives, tomato, spinach, artichoke, garlic, peppers (jalapeno, roasted red, green), mushrooms, asparagus. Pretty much any vegetable a place has except onion. Different kinds of cheeses are nice too; feta, bufalo mozzarella, etc. Fresh basil is a great too... All pizza should be topped with some crushed red pepper, garlic powder, and Frank's hot sauce as well, it just makes it better. Crust-wise, I guess standard New York style crust. Chicago style can be good on occasion, but it's not an often kind of pizza. Super thin crust is okay sometimes too. Here is picture of my brother and some of the pizza we had in Italy. It was fantastic. ![]() |

meat

Re: Pizza
Thin crust, pepperoni. Yes.
|
Re: Pizza
If I have to go basic, sausage and onion. But when I can get it, I like just about any cheese, and garlic on my pizza. Also like the white sauce. And let's see... pepperoni, beef, bacon, Canuck bacon, chicken, salami, etc.
I also LOVE stuffed pizza. Even better is those people who don't skim of the stuffed pizza (like Sbarro). I like the pizza that's stuffed, and then has even more topping on top. Papa Murphy's actually has really awesome stuffed pizza, I was impressed. Take one of those over delivery any day. |
Re: Pizza
MEAT!
|
Re: Pizza
Yeah pizza calzone is nice too. Doesn't really feel like you're eating pizza though...
|
Re: Pizza
Damn I love pizza. I like good pizza, shitty pizza, gourmet pizza....
Anyway, I'm quite partial to a good deep dish, but I also enjoy a good thin crust if it is made with good cheese and has just the right amount of grease consistency. There's a few local places around town that make a decent thin crust, but obviously the Chicago-land area excels at deep dish. I like my pizza with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, onions, mushrooms, green peppers (but only in small amounts). I enjoy Hawaii on occasion too. I find that the toppings don't really make a pizza...it's all about the basics, the crust, the cheese and the sauce. |
Re: Pizza
Reading this makes me want to throw up right now.

Re: Pizza
If it's coming from one of the major chains, Pepperoni. On thinner crust.
If it's coming from Armand's, they can do no wrong. I've had pretty much all of their specialty pizzas and they're all delicious. From pizzas loaded with normal pizza stuff (peppers onions sausage pepperoni, whatever) to Hawaiian to BBQ chicken to vegetarian to ones that substitute salsa for tomato sauce and throw on all kinds of delicious.... things that go with salsa. |
Re: Pizza
I must be getting better because I'm eating pizza right now haha.
