i dont really care much for vidja games these days
but even then i rarely come up with entertaining stuff to post
i need to make more borderline spam fictitious topics

I don't post in the gaming forum either. The only games I play these days are online flash games.

I too, have lost interest in video games for the most part. Either we're growing up or video games are growing down.

I'm still a devout WC3 player though. And the occasional Super Smash and Rock Band session. But that's it. Let the general talk forum thrive!

yeah, i learned how well that worked out for me when i FIRST came to GT under a different alias.. NOT good.

i barely play video games at all, unless i'm at a friends house or something, so most of my posting has and always will be in the happy hour section.

no biggie.

and you can't expect just because you're a member to get a birthday thread, at least make your stay here worthwhile, and maybe THEN you can see what happens.

I think I would play a lot more if I had a job I hated. It used to be my preferred form of escapism during my schooling.

Funnily enough I'm now getting all my gaming news from my girlfriend since she just took a job at Take2 Interactive. Kind of making me want to play games again. Recently broke out the old GameCube and played some F-Zero GX. Still awesome.

To be honest, I think the forum would be well-suited for an overhaul.

More of a place to talk about whatever - which is what it pretty much is now - but less of a focal point on the games considering we've all pretty much grown up, and moved on with life to the degree where we dont get a ton of posts daily.


Maybe seperate sub-forums for Games, Movies, Music, Pictures, Feedback/Notices, General Talk, things like that.

I don't think the name of GT should change. It is what it is.

Even though the non-gaming part is very strong, you'll always need a common ground, gaming in this case.

Although I would like to see some more gaming threads again.

Hmm while it is a good idea, it always seems like overall whenever we add more forums, it just makes the place appear more dead.

But I guess if we did add those, we would break up the giant threads like movies seen recently.

OR song last listened to.

I don't know about pictures though... maybe a General Media section for pictures and books/reading.

I also think the tag of "A forum about nintendo, xbox30 etc" should be changed. It's not really about those things anymore, so much as they're just sort of included topics from time to time.

We're getting too old :lolz: I'm surprised how long this site has been going even with some coming and going, but still has a solid base overall.
