I might wait till this one comes out on DVD. I was disappointed with the third X-Men movie...

Lol, what dorks. The 'original' trailer is a fan-made remix of scenes from previous X-Men movies.

Where the first and second better than the third?

I only saw the third and... yeah, pretty horrible.

Re: Xmen Origins: Wolverine

The third was just like.....ugh

If they couldn't figure out what to do with a character they just disintegrated them

First two were pretty sweet

The first one is only slightly better. I don't like the first one much.
The second one is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time.

Take that as you will.

And if you want to know the company Begins, The Dark Knight, spiderman 2, sin City (more of a comic movie than anything else)

Re: Xmen Origins: Wolverine

The first X-Men is still pretty great. Better than 2 imo.

The first movie is worth watching for character introduction and Ian Mckellen's performance...I love that guy. He is Magneto. So perfect.

Anyway, X-Men 2 kicks ass, I'll second what BaB said. I actually think I enjoy watching it more than Spiderman 2, even though Spiderman 2 is probably a slightly better film. It's got a good story, interesting characters....and Magneto being a total badass.

Now that I think about it, Wolverine's origins probably don't deserve an entire film since they touched on the important stuff in X2, so this movie better show the war and stuff and not just the lab.

I hope they don't waste Deadpool in this movie. Would much prefer that he has his own movie...written by Fabian Nicieza. Spin-off of a spin-off? At least Ryan Reynolds is playing him...that's something.

No, I don't think so.

According to Marvel lore, that other guy is *probably* his half-brother, 'Dog' Howlett.

And Sabretooth's story doesn't seem to point to any relation with Wolverine.

Re: Xmen Origins: Wolverine

In the comics they're not related. In the movie it appears he's his half brother, replacing Dog.

There was a one issue origin of Sabretooth that came out recently which I recommend. Follows him from a child and focuses on his odd relationship with Wolverine.

That was like Spiderman 3 in a nutshell. I just wish they showed emo-singing-Parker in the preview, then I could have not payed for that crapfest.

I have low expectations for this film. Shoulda done a Magneto-Xavier origins film.

The plan was to do a Magneto and Wolverine origins movie. Not quite sure what happened with the former.

http://www.magnetoorigins.com/

That redirects to the Fox homepage. Take it as you will.

My guess is they want to see how Wolverine fares before they start a Magneto film.

IMDB has a 2011 release date slated.

What on Earth did they do to my Mr. Wilson? :( Was the one thing about this movie was looking forward to. How can he make quips and break the fourth wall with no mouth....and claws....and laser eyes......?

EDIT: Hrmm, nothing to worry about it looks like. Btw, how does one do the black spoiler thingy?
