The Battle of the JBs

There is some unwritten rule that ultimate badasses have the initials JB. I don't make the rules, but here's the facts.

Jack Bauer

James Bond

Jason Bourne

So who's the best of the best.

Bauer. No question and no explanation needed.

Re: The Battle of the JBs

Jack Bauer would whoop your ass for even asking such a question!

Re: The Battle of the JBs

Jason Bourne, of course... those other two wouldn't even see it coming. Specially Bauer.

If you say so, I didn't know I was an ultimate badass. :p

Re: The Battle of the JBs

the rule goes, badasses have the initials JB, not JB's are badasses :P

John McLain however, makes the whole thing futile.

You misread my friend.
It's not that having the initials JB makes you a bad ass.
It is that bad asses tend to have those initials.

Well let's just say Jack Black as an example that doesn't always work.

What is your name? Curious now?

John Brown?
Jonny Bruiser?

Bourne has my vote because he's such a sympathetic and original good guy.

I'm a sucker for Bourne.

Re: The Battle of the JBs

Bourne.

Because I've never watched an episode of 24 (and because they had the Turks as terrorists once).

I thought of Bond, but I was never that into Bond movies.

Re: The Battle of the JBs

How can people vote for anyone other than Bourne???

They should've included him in the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. He would've won for sure.

This thread could use some virtues:

1. "TEMPERANCE. Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation."
2. "SILENCE. Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself; avoid trifling conversation."
3. "ORDER. Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time."
4. "RESOLUTION. Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve."
5. "FRUGALITY. Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself; i.e., waste nothing."
6. "INDUSTRY. Lose no time; be always employ'd in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions."
7. "SINCERITY. Use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly, and, if you speak, speak accordingly."
8. "JUSTICE. Wrong none by doing injuries, or omitting the benefits that are your duty."
9. "MODERATION. Avoid extremes; forbear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve."
10. "CLEANLINESS. Tolerate no uncleanliness in body, cloaths, or habitation."
11. "TRANQUILLITY. Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable."
12. "CHASTITY. Rarely use venery but for health or offspring, never to dullness, weakness, or the injury of your own or another's peace or reputation."
13. "HUMILITY. Imitate Jesus and Socrates."

:D
