Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Good news guys. I finally found a site that actually works. This is the raw, unedited full 4 hour version. Sorry it took so long to figure this shit out.

So this is what everyone sounds like......

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Feedback would be appreciated.
We're going to turn off all those annoying Skype sounds for the next one and hopefully put it up on iTunes. |
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Just got done listening. There was a few audio drops in a couple places, but overall, it turned out very nicely. :)

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
It says "all the download slots reserved for your country are full right now, try again in a few hours."
Which is what it always says. I probably won't be able to get it :( Any chance of uploading it somewhere else? Or maybe someone can send it to me over MSN or something.. |

I'll definitely find a better host next time, and like I said hopefully we'll have it up on iTunes.

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Why can't the same web space GT is stored on be used to store the pod casts?
I'm listening to it right now btw, good stuff. the Chuck steak/norris part was great. |

I'll probably listen to this before I go to sleep. That's when I do my music/podcast listening. |

I also have the DS one, but snaking ruined it for me. |
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Quite entertaining. Skipped most of the heavy video games talk. I'll go back and listen it that later. I'm not entirely sure how to pronounce my user name either. Was hoping for some clarity to emerge...and then BAB has you all call me Danny. *sigh* For a first podcast I'm impressed. Looking forward to the next.

It would make a great fanfic. The mysterious disappearance of a prominent and well-respected admin. |

My site has hosting space, if you want to mirror it there as well.

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
We're paid through until either 2010 or 2011 so we're okay there.
But yeah, it is a little unsettling wondering where he could be or what's happened to him. I hate to be morbid like that. |
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
As far as I know, Neo is still alive and well.
I guess he just kind of grew out of GT. |
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Poor Neo.
And to Bond, I believe you edited the music and such into it. You should end one with TF2 music |

If that time comes in a couple of years, I'm sure one of us wouldn't mind taking over the payments on it. I know I wouldn't. :) |

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
I finally managed to finish listening to the podcast. I really liked it, but it felt weird at the same time. I mean, I can't believe you guys are real, with voices and lives and stuff. :p
I was going to talk about a few things mentioned in the podcast, but I forgot.. I usually feel like I'm having a conversation with the people talking in the podcast and sometimes want to join the conversation, make a few jokes, say something about the subject.. :) I loved it. I'm looking forward to the next one. |

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
I'm just curious as to how most people get their other podcasts? I'm assuming iTunes?
|
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
iTunes or nothing.

Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
That's pretty much what I thought, I know I receive all my podcasts through iTunes - it's simply so convenient.
|
Re: Show #1: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
I download my podcasts directly from their website of origin. Back when iTunes first got released it completely messed up my music folder by trying to organize everything in the most idiotic ways. I still refuse to use iTunes to this day. Used to use another podcatcher but it became wonky.

Yeah, get them from iTunes..Only ones I get are This American Life (nice avatar, Bond) and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me...I would love to get the Coast to Coast AM one, but apparently it costs money. I just love that conspiracy shit.
