Mafianic 815 Round 4: Dropping like Lord of the Flies
 

Today has been a horrible day. Way too much happened.

So I went to talk to Libby today but I saw her talking to that jerk Hurley. I thought "Hey no big deal, she's just really nice" but then I saw them hug and part ways. So of course I confronted Hurley about it and he said that the two of them were going on a date but he forgot the blankets. So I was furious obviously that this big fat stupid rolled in and stole my woman but that's not the worst part. Libby took too long to come back and when Jack found her, she was DEAD. Her and Ana-Lucia were laying on the ground, full of bullets.

Then if that wasn't enough, that weird high school teacher Arzt freakin BLEW UP. Apparently they found some dynamite and it was unstable.


And then in all the confusion Jin the Korean guy was abducted. The reason that we know this is his wife told us. Apprently she speaks English. She was hysterical but she told us that Jin was dragged into the jungle.

By someone who wasn't from out camp.

Also, Russtafer has been removed from the game. Replacing him is Combine 017.

It looks like a lot but it's not too bad when you break it down.

However we're on Day 4 and we still haven't hit an Other :|

Think about it, if we are voting ourselves off in fits of paranoia. Why do they have to worry? They could fly beneath the radar until they have a nice size advantage and then start picking us off.

I'm not sure I grasp the concept of "capturing" and "killing".

I mean, Vampyr was captured and isn't dead, but GameMaster was captured by the Others and is now dead? Also, Typhoid was "killed" by vote and isn't on the "dead" list?

The first round was just random, but in the other rounds the majority of votes went to people someone else had pointed a finger at..

Typhoid is on the dead list.

Killing and Capturing are just two words for the same thing, really. When someone gets taken out by the Others, they get "captured," and everything else is a "kill" for the purpose of narration.

How have we not gotten an Other by now? More importantly, why would we be killing each other off if we were deserted on an island? Wouldn't we just chill out and wait for a rescue?

Sorry for voting for you flunkie (I didn't know you were a Cards fan!), but as I showed, it was a completely random vote. I haven't really had the time to entertain theories, not that it would have done much good seeing where the theories have got us so far.

So, try as I might to figure out who to vote for after reading over everything I've missed, I'm at a loss. It seems we're all back at square one with little to go on.

Alright. At least for now, I'm voting cygb. He's been popping in only once each round to make a vote and that's it. If I were an other, that would a good strategy from my point of view. Lay as low as possible, and try to get people to overlook you.
