What languages do you speak (or for those of you in school -- what lanauge are you taking)?

Oh yeah.. why don't I tell you what I speak.. I speak English, very little Latin (so I didn't vote for it), and Spanish. I'm planning to minor in Spanish when I go to college, and I'm aiming to get into Spanish 4 Honors when I'm a senior in HS.

Edit: Muhahaha -- I fixed it.. now I just have to get the other one deleted.. :unsure:

Dutch, English and French. I also understand quite a bit German and another official language of Holland, but I haven't really learned for them and I don't speak them very well so I didn't count those.

Oh yeah, I also took Latin and Greece for a few years, so I can understand a little bit of those too.

I only know English but I want to learn Japanese at some point. Have to find a good class that's not overly expensive.

I know English and Spanish...and I am hoping to learn Japanese one day.

I speak English. Not very well at that, either. Which is sad, considering it's my first and basically only language :( ;)

I used to be able to speak french quite well. But then I purposely forgot it all...and I still have to get a high school french credit. :(

Je prefere l'anglais. Francais est tres crappo. ;) :p (for those who speak french, I realize that 'crappo' is not a word :rolleyes: )

I already speak English. I was raised speaking Vietnamese, but I lost a lot of it (I will pick it up again some time). I have studied Latin for 6 years. And I studied French for 4 years. Hopefully I'll become fluent in French.

Live in France for a few months and your French will be fluent, I promise! I lived there for 3 weeks, and it really improved my pronounciation!!

Primarily English, but I do know a lot of French (Or used to!)

I lost most of my Spanish...but I am working on it. :D

I'm taking Korean in school, but I hardly know any of it. That might be because all we do in that class is watch movies. I think I've seen around 25 movies in that class. I'm not even exaggerating.

Well, I actually have lived in France for an extended period of time, so my French is much better than most people who studied high school French for 4 years (not that that's hard). I didn't get fluent, though, because pretty much everybody in France knows English anyway. :(

Living in Vietnam ought to improve my Vietnamese, though. :D

I speak english.... a bit of french and i speak russian.
My parents are russian and i spend the first 3 years of my life in russia so yeah..... thats how i learned it.

Cool!!! So I'm not the only one here who speaks Hebrew!!! I speak English and a bit of Spanish, though not well, and Hebrew a bit worse than the Spanish... I'm rather good in Yiddish, though I'm not sure if it's an official language.

Xantar, quand j'étais en France, j'ai decouvri(?) que les françaises ne parle pas bien anglais. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils ont parlé anglais avec toi... :confused:

C'est probablement parce que je suis americain donc ils croient que je ne peut pas parler français. :unsure:

J'était au Paris ou il y avait beaucoup de touristes.

Dommage. J'écoute la musique pour étudier la langue maintenant. Est-ce que vous conaissez la musical "Notre Dame de Paris?"

There used to be someone on Ndose who was living in Belgium for a period of time. Later he returned to Australia. Blast, I forgot his name!! :(

I took Russian last year -- hated the language. If I took it this year, it would have changed my life -- seriously.. I would have Russian 8th period and I wouldn't get to have math class with the most beautiful girl in the world..
