First Challenge
 

Welcome Taverners to the first of your challenges. In order to succeed at war, you must know your enemy better than you know yourself.

So this first challenge will test your general knowledge of your team and your enemies. Each team is to talk amongst themselves and submit one finale form with all their guesses.

There are 14 soldiers, but 15 facts. One of these facts does not belong to any soldier, can you figure out which fact deceives you? And the final fact is about one of your leaders, can you guess which?

1) This soldier enjoys traveling to the land of Hyrule as they have purchased Twilight Princess 4 times.
2) This soldier enjoys writing in his spare time. You could check out some of his work from before the war at gameexc.com
3)This soldier is battle tested as he has had his thumb broken by his own platoon.
4) This soldier is a science wiz winning his science fair in 2005.
5) This soldier is a bit unusual as he takes a day each year to celebrate the Hot Dog.
6) This soldier is a lean green fighting machine as he shares a name with a ninja turtle.
7)This soldier is combat trained on the state of the art Ps3. Two times.
8) This soldier got his start in military education at Bennington College.
9)This soldier proved his worth by scoring a 1210 on his SATs.
10) This soldier was battle tested in the wilds of the Bahamas.
11) This soldier studies his enemies so much he made a video about them. Yes ninjas are the enemy.
12) This soldier not only graduated from the university of Truman but did it refreshed.
13) In his down time, this soldier can be found listening to Hoochan.
14) This soldier got a quarter on his ACT.
15) This soldier returned from a full year of duty in Malta.

Ok, to get things moving I am the answer to Question #1... but that is outdated info since I told BaB that last week. I own it again, thus making it #5 and the last time I'm going to buy it! haha

Alright, it seems like the answer to #3 is Fox6... the clue stated he broke his thumb at one point and this from like 4 years ago he says he has a broken thumb

Ok, I think Clue #10 about someone being to the Bahamas maybe the clue that belongs to no one. I searched "Bahamas" and none of the participants have posted saying that they've been.

Okay, well, these are our best guesses from here...We're thinking about turning it in soon just to get the bonus, I don't know if anybody else has guesses for the remainders...I can't figure out anything.

Sorry guys ive been really busy lately. Obviously your right about me being no. 14. Good work so far, I cant say I have any clue about the only remaining two off the top of my head, and I need to go to class shortly. I'll look into this more when I get done with classes today. We have until 7 PM CST.

Yeah, after last night I got nothing else... do we lose points for each one wrong? because if not then I guess we could just fill in the blanks with the last 2 names, it's 50/50 shot. *shrugs*

We don't lose points per se, but whichever team has the most right wins the challenge. If there is a tie, then the team who turned their list in first wins.

Well the only one we havent found is Yoda, so he has to be either the hot dog one or the Bahamas one. I did some searching and came up with nothing. Im stumped, whatever you guys want to do...might as well just take a guess I suppouse.

Plus, one of the facts is phony and one belongs to leader....Assuming the Vampyr one is correct, we are just left to determine which applies to one of the leaders and which is phony. Yoda may not be represented at all.

EDIT: Referring to the initial challenge, Swan told me in a PM that "One of the clues is just a decoy. I MAY be something true about one of us but it is stilla decoy."

And if I were just to take a guess I would say that the Bahamas clue is phony and that Swan celebrates the Hot Dog, but I don't know, that's just throwing it out there.

Okay I just got done talking to BAB, turns out every team member IS represented, so Yoda should be added in even if its just a guess. And for the decoy, we just have to state which one is the decoy.

Ah, confusing because I thought they said a leader was represented too, but there aren't enough clues...

My vote is...hmm...I don't know, I'll flip a coin...Hot dog for decoy, Bahamas for Yoda...
