Welcome Taverners
 

TavernWars is the latest big forum game for GT. It is similar in concept to Survivor but different in several key areas.

First off the teams will be divided by nations. Sadly since we have a very small international base they will be one group. So there will be Team Canada. Team USA. And Team Rest of the World. No names are finals. :p

Like Survivor there will be challenges, but after every challenge, the winning team gets to vote off one member from one of the opposing teams. A team is eliminated once all of their members are gone. The final team with members will be winners. So an entire team can remain intact or it could come down to 1 on 1 on 1. Who knows how it will play out.

The competition will be hosted by myself and Swan (since the original concept derives from a running joke we have over MSN.)

I hope we generate enough interest to get this off the ground. So post here if you are interested in participating and while I have a general idea of what country most of our Taverners reside in, you can post that information as well.

I am hoping for at least 5 on 5 on 5, but I can scale up or down accordingly.

Wait, I just realized I can't. I can see every team's forum again since I'm administrator. I remember that caused bad blood in a previous survivor, although I think I stepped down to finish it off last time, even though I never did spy. (I promise. :sneaky:)

Besides, I think there's plenty of canadians here to fill the team anyways.

As well me and BaB have also agreed that he will take care of issuing challenges to the Canadian team and I will do the same for the Americans. We shall be taking turns with the Foreigners.


So that way people do not think we are going to cheat to help our beloved countries

So me and BaB never really explained what was going on because we forget there are new people here.


Basically starting next week there will be competitions between the teams and whichever team wins the competition gets to vote one player off from an opposing team

I can't make promises, but will try my best to avoid certain time challenges because my new schedule doesn't permit me much days to stay up late.

There will be challenges that start at certain times and I realize same deal, but those are challenges of speed and what have you.

Surprised the Canadian team hasn't filled up yet.
