Damn..I hate that stuff..

Anyway..

We can't take Happydude's prediction..because Germany and Italy play in the semifinals..so they can't be first and second. So that means either Italy or Germany will win against France. I can assume that we all agree that Portugal will not win.

All right..well this isn't our official pick, because I want to wait for everyone to voice their opinion. Typhoid and I have picked Germany vs. France for the final..but we still have yet to pick a score. I won't be here until tomorrow night. I just want to make sure that we have a good pick for this..so when everyone can post tomorrow don't forget about this opinion.

Okay, so it looks like we definitely have Germany winning, France getting second, and Italy getting third. Now what we need to do is have the official guess on the score.

Re: Challenge #5 - World Cup Predictions

I dont care about the score, someone else can put their two cents in. I say we just take your initial proposal.

But curious, what happens if it goes into penalty kicks?

Would we have to be specific?

Such as: "Germany and France tie 1-1, but Germany beats France 5-4 in penalty kicks"?

I have a good feeling about Portugal, but thats just me :p

Germany winning it sounds good, and I'm saying they win 1-1 In Penalty Kicks

Wouldn't that technically be a 2-1 win? Or do they just say that they win in penalty kicks?

Re: Challenge #5 - World Cup Predictions

Oh, I just realized from Typhoid's post that they add all the penalty kicks to the final score. All right..well what we should do is if they tie, say what they tie at. Most likely it'll be 1-1. Then, if they go into penalty kicks, we just have to say how many for each side. We need to decide how many. I'd like to say 4 to Germany and 3 to France.

So basically.....

1st: Germany
2nd: France
3rd: Italy

Germany will beat France 2-1. If both tribes don't get it right, and they tie, and go into penalty kicks, then Germany will get 4 and France will get 3. That's the final decision Neo.

I'm sorry guys..Italy just beat Germany 2-0. Both goals came in the last few minutes of the second OT period though..so it was anyone's game until that point..

Guh, it was a good game anyways.

I hate whats-his-face on the Italian team, the one that always dives blatently, then looks at the ref immediately after.

That homo with the long hair. number 16.

I hate him with a passion.

Is he one of the midfielders? I think you're talking about the one who, earlier in the game, kept running after the ball and kind of crashed into the wall, and didn't even let the German help him up. Is that the guy? If so, then I too hate him. I kept making comments on how he seemed like an ass. 16 CAMORANESI Mauro. Yeah, that's the same guy, I recognize the name.

Yeah, thats the one.
And that specific thing is one of the reasons why I hate him.
He dove, and then when the German showed good faith to try help him up, he didnt even let him.

The hell is that.
