Hahah. I love Banjo-Kazooie. Best game ever.

I feel violated.

BK IS the best game ever. It's all about the ice key and the secret Stop-n-Swap.

Two bad it wasn't highly acclaimed, i guess it's just a "kiddy" "mario 64 clone."

But other than that hilarious.

When I woke up this morning I still had that image in my mind.

"Banjo, please stop, you're drunk."

I think what makes it so disturbing is Kazooie's tone. There's nothing joking about it. Thanks a lot, biatch.

OK Gametavern, another goodbye from Angrist/Canyarion.

And don't think it's just this case, no, I've been offended a lot the last half year on Gametavern.

So maybe I'll post again one day. But not soon, I won't even read GT.

Oh btw, yes, incest is so funny. har har.

Edit: Did I mention GT sucks monkeyballs? Too boring lately. Sorry. Bye.
Edit2: "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws." Whatever.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone. If I have an idea that hasn't been done before it motivates me to do it. Been in a 2 month slump not being able to draw anything and this brought me out of it.

Neo 07-03-2006 09:02 AM

Re: Problems At Home

If something offends you it's really your problem, not anyone elses. You are the only one who can control how you feel. And if you were really 100% sure of your beliefs then it would be impossible to be offended by anything as you would know you were right and they were wrong. Another person's beliefs won't affect you unless you let them. If you go through life believing that everyone MUST conform to the way you think things should be then you will be bitterly unhappy.

Anyway I thought you were being sarcastic.

I'm sorry, but we're now on your fourth goodbye and your third edited goodbye - not really making it a goodbye but more of a dramatic short-term exit followed with an eventual glamorous return.

I was wondering same deal.

Beastality I can see but that doesn't really count when its animal and animal does it?

Wow, didn't know comics could crush someone's boyhood dream.

And I think GT has gotten to the point where most posters are old enough to allow something like this.

i have a feeling that we havent seen the last of him.

The funny thing is that he calls this a goodbye and that he'll never read GT again but then turns around and says he'll probably be back.

Typhoid 07-03-2006 01:31 PM

Re: Problems At Home

How did he take so much offence to that?

Of all things, he takes offence to a comic.

And just to say, I like how he's trying to snap back at us and kill our ego and say GT sucks monkey balls as if it would really ruin our lives. Oh no, a small community of people posting sucks? HEAVAN FORBID!

And I would also like to be explained as to how a bear and a bird are related, because it's not insest in any way.

Maybe in his country. Maybe he had some scarring incident when he was a child. Maybe a wild bear took advantage of his pet bird one day as he was strolling through a forest, and now he cant bear the sight of a bear and bird together, thusly why he never played the game.

Or maybe he's just wierd. :p

You guys arguing that it's not incest is kinda ridiculous. So it's not incest; then what, is it rape? Yeah, much better.

You know Kazooie likes it.

just asking how it was incest. because that didnt make sense. being better or worse isnt the point. it was called incest i was wondering how. end of story.

there could be many ways to take it, maybe thier both guys and good friends, and banjo is drunk and wanting to 'experiment'

maybe kazooie is a girl, and they're married, and banjo has just come home from a hard days work and hanging out in the bar with the guys, feeling a bit frisky wants a bit of lovin from his wife. she tells him no he's drunk and he stops. nothing wrong with him asking his wife. :p

im sure theres many many ways to interprate it, and many ways ones mind could think of what comes after that scene, im sure some people are offending themselves with what they picture comes next.

maybe someone could interpate thier brother and sister, i just didnt see how, so i asked. theres no problem with asking. :p

Rape it is.. I'll give you that much

But its between two fictional characters who happen to be animals.. but eh.

There are just things that can be funnie if done in the right light I guess.

And shock humor works.

Re: Problems At Home

I am not offended by the drawing. Very few things offend me, like I said I think GT is too tame. I think the drawing is clever and drawn very well.

It's just that arguing that it's not incest is missing the point.

Replace "incest" with "rape" in Cany's sentence.

It doesn't change Cany's point much, does it?

And I'm glad I called attention to it, you and Null have now explained your position better.

BreakABone 07-03-2006 02:46 PM

Re: Problems At Home

Ok I agree with you.

And I also agree with Canyarion.

Rape/incest.. all that stuff is generally not funny.

But this kind of seperates us from it because its not between two humans I guess.

If it was like I don't know Mario and Peach, it would be a lot more offensive because they are closer to being humans.

Null 07-03-2006 03:37 PM

heh heh... hehehehe. drunk mario. :P

Typhoid 07-03-2006 03:52 PM

Nobody found the Mario-doing-Peach-from-behind-1-up avatar to be offensive.

I've never found how people can take jokes in bad lighting. They're jokes. The only reason anyone can take a joke badly is because they're insecure, or they're worried if they dont act like they care, they'll get in trouble or something.
