Cruel Melee Mode
 

Is there anyone on this site that has beaten cruel melee mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee? I have'nt played the game in a while and turned it on today to have a 4p session with my friends and noticed that I never got to beat the whole game.

The trophy recieved by beating that is all I need to complete my trophy collection and totally finish the game. I already have all the chraracters, stages, rest of trophies, and etc. Now i must defeat what I believe is the hardest part. To the person(s) who have beaten it could you please tell me the person you used and any other important techniques.

There is no way to beat it. You just destroy as many as possible. And, yes, I have gotten the trophy for doing that. My suggestion is to use Roy and use his Up + B attack to knock the guys out.

CRUEL MELEE MODE

its not the 15-min or 100-man melee where you try to knock as many people out of the playfied as possible and still surive in the alotted amount of time.

cruel melee is when u fight only 6 characters and have to defeat them all but they are very smart powerful and sturdy.
its very hard, i have already beaten 15-min and 100 man.

No, he understood you perfectly. There is no way to beat Cruel Melee. If you kill a guy, he just comes back. And it goes on and on forever. My record lies at 37.

EDIT: To anybody that cares, I did it with Pikachu's lightning attack most of the time.

I use that move on people who jump too much... but in that survival mode, I like to stay down in the middle, and thunder doesn't strike that area...

leatherface... I suggest you use Marth or Roy.

(but my all time fav is Captan Falcon)

for all of u that didnt no it dont go on forever. u have to beat six of them. yes each will keep coming back but the amount u killed will raise and if u keep killin um ull eventually get six i jus cant do it. its very very hard.no, im not mistaken. i jus checked right now to see if i was wrong.
also, jin i made my name look like that to match the movie in all ways possible. yes, i am a die hard horror movie fan.

Sickening, cruel melee is impossibly hard, i can only kill like 4 guys.

1ce or 2ce i got to 5 but normaly i have 3 and have never since got any higher.

I made it to 24...

I was playing all day... tryin to get that Sonic and Tails thing...

u cant get that much in cruel melee. the limit is 6 and 1ce u reach that u have won.

How fun is that? What is the point of this mode if the players just keep on coming back?

it makes it harded because its restoring that player to full strenght(0%) and the players(cpus) are already very hard as it is.

But I'm saying you have to have atleast 6 to officially win. I already new you are allowed to get as many as possible.

You have to get 20 trophies to get The Sonic and Tails trophie. What would u get with 6?

You obviously have'nt read my thread. Please read it now. I am not trying to get the sonic and tails trophy. By getting 6 *kos* in cruel melee mode you get the Mr. Resetti trophy(the only one I dont have)

There is no such thing as the sonic and tails trophy. I made this thread to see who beat this task. I wanted that person to tell me the character they used and any important tips that would lead me to victory.

6 KOs in Cruel Melee is not beating the whole thing. That's only a task to get a trophy. There is no number of how many wire frame people you can kill. It is hard, but getting 6 is not "winning".

Getting six is getting the trophy. Thats all I want. Did you get the trophy?

I have it like that so it says leatherface69 and i eat her face 69. They both have to do with leatherface for those of you that are familiar with the TCM movie series.

Yes, unfortunately I am familiar with those disgusting movies... :unsure:

You are very fortunate. The TMC series are classics and should be seen by any people of all races and ages.:D

Mine too! I can't believe that PGC rated him low because he's "hard to get used to". Captain Falcon is generally my best player, but of course you have to adapt when the match type is changed.

I admit to hurling Captain Falcon across the screen once in a while with the psychic brutality of Mewtwo :D

captain falcons moves r to darn slow

Captain Falcon's moves are slow, but POWERFUL... even more so than Donkey Kong and Bowser...

If you land 3 falcon punches, on anybody near the side of a stage, they will be KOed.

In a one on one game with an expert, he's hard to use... but in a 4 way battle, the Falcon punch will run the whole damn show.

i no that.

if you want extreme power use ganandorf. his up+A(i believe) attack is extremely powerful but the slowest out of everyones moves. other than that all his other movers are basically like captain falcons(slightly stronger; nothing that noticeable tho).i like marth or roy the most beause of there fast moves(especially smash attacks). there moves are pretty strong also considering how quick they are.

back on topic; i still havent got the trophy for beating 6 foes in cruel melee mode. has anyone done that. with who? what other tips are usful to recieve success.

Um, Gannondorf isn't Sronger... they are exactly the same, Gannon just has weaker defense (cause he's bigger)

you can think what you want. mags say that ganondorf is stronger. and i ve tried using falcons strongest moves and then using ganondorfs. u should too. ganondorfs strongest move makes your opponent sail farther than falcons. his moves cause a higher percentage to be taken away too. jus thought id clear this up for u.:D

My best characters are Roy and Ganondorf (he's slow but he can kik ass)

I kick major, major ass using Roy.

Roy is awesome. This is the last time I shall post in this thread. But I have one thing I've been dying to use.
