Is there like an IRC chat for GT. I checked the site and it doesn't mention anything about it.

We used to have a chatroom... but no one was really ever there.

Nobody ever used the chat.. when GT had a 3D chat, BLueFire and I would go in there and f**k around with the paint feature and instult other members :D

It sure was fun at times though... ask BLueFire, he might remember some of the s**t we pulled off..

I was always in the virtual chat with terese. But they took it away, NOOOO!

It was cool. But I guess a chat like those on PGC and TXB are good.

Well... Maybe as time goes on and stuff, if the demand and whatnot for a chatroom suggest that it would be a good addition, we'll look into it.

But you have forums... Why the hell do you need a chatroom?

i didnt neccesarilly want it. i just wanted to tell them that if they miss that darn chat room so much to stop complaining about it and go do something to get it back.

Why not just host an AIM chat with and invite everyone in? I've done that once or twice.

Oh yeah, I forgot, some people don't have AIM *cough* Angrist *cough*

Yes, IRC chats are the true meaning of chats. In 3D chats, I went wild. :D What a lot of fun. Hehe...too bad those days are gone. :-o

Oh, I did'nt want to know, I already did. I was telling him to do that because he was'nt sure if people understood what he was talking about. I told him to do that so people would know.:)

Yep. Personally, I prefer IRC chats over other web-based ones, graphic chats, AIM, or whatever else.

In trying to work with IRC chats in the past, however, things seemed to have not gone overly well (As in, the bulk of the forum users don't know what they are, and don't know how to use them).

I'd say getting a java IRC applet set up on the site could be a possibility, but like I mentioned before, we'll see how things go. It all depends on the demand and functionality of getting something like that set up. No promises, but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out either.

We could find a good server to put it on.

That drawing thing (which could also be used as a chat with coloring words) at the chrono place was cool. Of coarse it got really crazy.

That's what made it fun!

I've said that about 3 times in this topic.. BLueFire and I would pull off some crazy **** in those chats.
