A very Sly Contest!

Your mission:

To take this photo painted by the Lovely miss Ashleigh Mullins (Ex-Girlfriend and long time partner in crime) and turn it into a sweet sig for me that says "TheSlyMoogle" somewhere on it. The rest is up to you. Play with color, play with effects, do your photoshop goodness to it!

Of course right now the image is huge, but I think you photo shop wizards can fix this, correct?!

The winner who shall be chosen by me, will not only have their name in my sig forever, but will also have the prize of me using your sig. Oh and did I mention I'll give you all my doubloons?

;)

So get crackin wizards!

Ok I will link the photo.

Make the first picture an attachment, it's hurting my 20-inch monitor.

well being that i've used CS also, along with CS2.

the colors and effects come out sharper and look better than before, and theres many things you can do with brushes and textures.

its better, everything comes out clearer and better looking than ever before.

You can do whatever you want to it. The only stipulation is it say "The Sly Moogle" somewhere on it.

The part that means it's a contest provided by the sly moogle, so that means it's always a sly contest.

Oh GM, that's a sweet sig. I've already saved it to my PC!

That's one person.

I need more sigs.

Re: A very Sly Contest!

Well yeah, because it's saved as a JPEG. Hahah.

I got Adobe Creative Suite installed but Photoshop didn't install properly! I'm working on it.

I had no idea how to morph this painting into a signature.

I tried for minutes on end. :P

Ok... Well then, if no one else wants to get in on the sig action I will set the deadline for Monday March 13. If by then no one else comes up with a sig, or if they can't top GM, then GM wins.

Good luck!

I guess GM wins, eh?

Dyne 03-13-2006 05:14 PM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

Well I'm going to get Photoshop as soon as I can.

GM, how do I uninstall stuff on Macs.

GameMaster 03-13-2006 05:54 PM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

Is it a zip file or dmg or sit?

I installed Creative Suite 2.0 using a .cdr and 3 dmgs.

GameMaster 03-13-2006 11:51 PM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

DMGs should 'unpack' with a double click.

.cdr is the file extension for the Corel Draw Vector drawing file, and for the Raw Audio-CD data file.

I've never encountered one of those.

How would dmgs unpack to uninstall?

GameMaster 03-14-2006 01:18 AM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

You mean it uninstalled when you double clicked it?

Dyne 03-14-2006 01:26 AM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

No, I have no clue how to uninstall. Do I drag the files to the trash or something?

GameMaster 03-14-2006 01:33 AM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

Oh yeah, usually everything is contained within the actual application, so all you do is double click on Hard Drive > Applications > and then either the program itself will be there or it's folder. Just take whatever one is there, drag to the trash, Finder > Empty Trash.

Dyne 03-14-2006 01:54 AM

Re: A very Sly Contest!

Wow, I love macs. So simple!

Edit: any reason that no serials work anymore for me? That's really.. weird.

I just quoted myself... Wow.
