neither, a samurai...you fight a ninja witha samurai one clean blow and the ninjas out and witht he pirate...its pretty sqaure the samurai should win because hes a trained soldier...i read CAD like 30seconds ago ^^

Pros:
Parrot
Tattoos of loose women you met in Milan and the Barbary Coast
Swords
Cool outfit
Cannons
Gold Doubloons
A Ship to Command
The Open Sea
Fame
A life of self-defined adventure

Cons:
Fake leg, but that could be cool I guess
Scurvy
Long voyages with no females (bad luck)
Mortal peril from Her Majesty's Fleet

Ninjas

Pros:
Silent killing machine
Cool outfit
Swords
Throwing stars
Nunchukus (well, I would have them, as they rock)

Cons:
Life of constant training
Anonimity
No Cannons (yes, not having them is a con)
Mortal peril from Samurai
A life of being told what to do and who to kill


I honestly don't think its even close. Pirates rule all.

As for the Samurai, a pirate would just Indiana Jones his ass. Samurai comes running with a sword, pirate pulls his pistol and blows him to kingdom come. Then the pirate would say something devilishly clever and get loaded on rum and opium. I repeat: Pirates Rule All.

I agree, and I also have a bit of an eyepatch fetish. Also, in Shogun by James Clavell, Blackthorne was totally a pirate even though he denied it. He became a samurai and evaded ninja attacks!

Actually, if you were a samurai teh chance of you fighting a ninja would be slim to none (Most of the time you were assassinated by a shuriken while on guard duty for them to gain access). Ninjas 90% of the time would sneak around and do assassinations and what not many times fighting other ninjas, they are considered teh splincter cell of a long time ago you could say.

Samurai Pros adn Cons:

Pros:
-Big freaking sword
-Cool Clothing Line
-Towns people either respect or are scared of you
-You get paid to rome around the streets and make sure everything is as it should be until there is a war
-You get to eat damn good food
-There is no sneakyness

Cons:
-Get pwned by ninjas IF your a guard
-You can die
-You can't go see a geisha whenever you want
-you have to sleep on thin mats with a dozen others in the room...
(Depending what rank you are :P)

Additional:

Pros: You can freaking cut peoples heads off if you think your sword feels like it!

And Geisha are the non-consenting ones. Samurai were allowed Escorts whenever they wanted (women or little boys) and paid in Koku, units of rice.
