Curious George

Anyone else getting a little sick of Will Ferrell?

Nice to see an animated film nowadays that isn't fully computer generated. Was kinda half hoping they'd do some twisted version of Curious George but alas it appears to retain the goodness of the books...hopefully they don't screw it up.

Curious George finds a steak knife?

Curious George finds a loaded rifle?

Curious George finds "daddy brownies"?

It would be funny if they portrayed him as an actual monkey, spreading disease and throwing his own feces in a rabid screaming rage.

Maybe Curious George and Will Farrel are the ones who started AIDS?

Actually there is a theory that AIDS started from the race to develop Polio vaccine.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0438938/

And to address the flaw that the featured commentor made: If AIDS did start from the Polio vaccine made from primate organs in the Congo, it wouldn't have spread only in the Congo and not throughout the world with each vaccine administered because the vaccine in question was not the vaccine chosen for the general public.

I'd like to see him in an actually serious role.

It's supposed to be, "Show me the money" not "show me the monkey".

I don't find their twist on the actual phrase to be clever or funny. Infact, it was the deciding factor in my choice not to see it.

Curious George Filmmakers Status: pWned.

I agree GM. I was kind of disgusted when I saw that as well.

i always liked the books so I would see the animated movie whenever it became available on dvd. I am sure that the makers will be thinking of the population like me and will market for that.

Re: Curious George

At least it doesn't read something like "Here's our monkey, now show us yours."

A slang word sometimes used to refer to male genetalia. Not to be confused with "brass monkey" wich is an alcoholic beverage. They can however be used together.
Q: Hey man what are you gonna do tonight ?

A: I'm gonna go home get blitzed on some brass monkey then spank my ol' monkey.. Wanna Help ?

You're telling me that monkeys aren't naturally curious? What is this world coming to?

So I went to give you rep on that.

It didnt work.

I laughed.

This is possibly the best discussion on the boards for a while.

Since curiousity killed the cat, the monkey should at least receive some near fatal wound.

Doesn't Curious George ever feel cruious about human anatomy or sexual orientation? Who cares about amusement parks or pet stores!

Maybe monkeys are exempt to curiosity-based deaths. Maybe there is something about a monkey that doesnt let it get wounded or hurt when it is being curious.

Nah. It's the curiousity of humans that kills monkeys.

Thanks for the attempted rep by the way.
