Re: Clue to Revolution
i..uhh...don't get it
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
It's not so much a clue about Revolution as it is a clue to the next Mario game which will be on the Revolution. The number of Marios plus Mario coming out of a frozen state; just try and think creatively and you'll get it.
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
I guess it's saying the next mario is coming out on Rev (256 as opposed to 128), and that the reason he hasn't been around is because they stuck him in a block of ice which they're now working on melting down...
...... o.O I'd like to know where he got these images from. Good old Crash and his tendency to never list sources... |
Re: Clue to Revolution
Hmm...it looks like the Revolution will be transparent and twice as powerful as the NES. Cool.
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
So the old Mario gameplay was cryogenically frozen then? And in this new game you're going to have way too many mario lives?
Typical of nintendo. |
Re: Clue to Revolution
Maybe it means that Mario was hidden by his evil twin brother AntiMario and AntiMario was in the past couple games. They just found him and are thawing him out and the Mini NES Marios are the army to look for AntiMario OR they are AntiMarios Pixelated Pirate Platoon.
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
I bet Crash made this images.
:P |
Re: Clue to Revolution
where?
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
naw, apparently matt cassimina has been emailing them to member of the IGN boards... *shrugs*
|
Re: Clue to Revolution
They're taking Mario back to his roots...
OR The Revolution has the ability to freeze time... |

It's obviously the latter. |
Re: Clue to Revolution
The Mario frozen is holding a GameCube. Mario's last true game was on the GCN and since then the series has been "frozen". Now with the Revolution coming, Mario is being "thawed out" from his frozen state and the series will finally continue on. The other picture means Mario 128, but x2, meaning there could be two games (in a sense) or two Mario's (the other could be Luigi, or some sh*t).
Yeah... |

How the hell did you come up with that? It sounds very accurate to the images portrayed by Mr Crash man |
Re: Clue to Revolution
If you notice on the first one, he is holding a gamecube. And is in an ice cube. Meaning there will be a Mario game for the gamecube, because Mario, is IN the cube.
And the other one is saying that two players, not one, can play an 8-bit Mario game released for the NES. I solved it. ...Wait a minute... |
Re: Clue to Revolution
I think Darkmaster was right on the first one, but I do believe the 128x2 marios are just another indication of the next Mario game being released on the revolution...
People were calling the supposed upcoming NGC Mario game "Mario 128"... People sort of define each generation by the number of bits (8, 16, 32, 64, 128, always doublin')... Mario 256... ... :> |

Re: Clue to Revolution
I have also seen the Revolution. However, I also am under a strict NDA and therefore cannot reveal anything. Fortunately, I can vaguely inform you that it is in fact something interesting, and when you see it you'll probably agree to a certain extent that my very uninformative description was justified.

Re: Clue to Revolution
OMFGZZZ HUGE ANNOUNCEMANT!
Not really, but Camp Hyrule is currently on fire (for the record, I'm not a member), closing ceremonies are in 8 minutes, and people are hoping for something big... In the sense that the IGN boards are ccrrraaaaazzyy with speculation... As always... We'll have more on this breaking news story as it happens... |

"All the clues and riddles.
Just...Believe. A Revolution is Coming! Are you ready to Revolt? posted by KingofGamers at 7:05 PM The Controller Many of you are nervous about the Controller I see. The same thing happened with the N64 analog stick that is now standard and you wouldnt want to play without. Have faith this will change the industry. Believe" uhh, that sounds a tad too much like cult philosophy |
Re: Clue to Revolution
That guy is an idiot. He's a 14 year old kid who wants to make everyone think that he knows the secret behind Revolution. He's going to have legions of 13 year old kids asking him questions, which will make him feel like a big man.

He did it during the whole camp hyrule fire, and people were talking about it on the IGN boards... then of course nothing happens, so he delays and says .5... Then when nothing happens he just makes up some bullsh*t... It's pretty hilariously pathetic... |
