I'm not going to kid myself... I'm 19 turning 20 and I still watch teh Disney Channel sometimes, for some shows, but I've recently fell in love with the Wonder Duo of Aly & AJ, they play the guitars and write beautiful music, has anyone else heard them?

Aly is from NOW YOU SEE IT and PHIL OF THE FUTURE
and AJ is her friend and every since I heard their music, I've been entranced.

Anyone else? Comments?

What is M2Ms genre? I like Acoustics/power ballads/trance and alternative rock.

Yay!!!

Right now I'm having this huge M2M hype.... all day I search for pics/info and listen to their 2 CDs + live/acoustic tracks. :( :D

The Mandarin (Chinese) version of Pretty Boy is pretty cool.... I asked a few Chinese students and they said they sing pretty good Mandarin!

Hm yeah not one of my favorites, but still good. Their second single. Wanna Be Where You Are is sweet as well, from their second CD The Big Room (named after the room where they recorded the CD).

I remember M2M...A bit too pop and high pitch for my liking but the girls are gorgeous :p

I also heard of the Mandarin version of Pretty Boy before...and they put me to shame. I am Chinese and they speak better Mandarin than I do >.<

Not all of M2M is high pitch, they have some sweet sad songs as well..

Well a lot of my relatives speak more filipino then me, but I have yet to see the day a person of non-filipino descent speak more than me... BESIDES a translator.

EDIT: in fact I know more Japanese then I do my own language... sad really

Yeah... Because China is so huge they have different 'provinces' (can't think of the exact word... too early in the morning :D) and people from different places have different dialects.

Mandarin is a dialect itself, I believe but it is made into the country's national language.

I can prolly just speak a teensy bit of it :p I grew up spaking Cantonese, another dialect :)

Yan! Could you perhaps please translate the lyrics? I've searched the internet, but it appears that nobody has put a Chinese - English translation online!
It starts with something like "I miss you, I wish I could see your eyes through the window", already the Chinese students translated 1 sentence. :p

China has over 1,000 dialects but there is Mandarin, Gan, Hakka, Min, Wu, Xiang and Cantonese to name a few.

As well as the many Japanese dialects,

Hokkaido-ben, Tohoku-ben, Kawachi-ben, Nagoya-ben, Kyoto-ben, Satsuma-ben, Kansai, Fukui, Hakkata.... to name a few.

Nah... It was jsut a language I picked out of randomness though it may have been influenced by Dennis Bergkamp :D

I don't know what praat means... I roughly know the meaning of the other words but they don't make sense when I put them together, heh.
