Here's the article about the new show. Makes me wanna puke.

"The new series will have the same classic wit and wisdom, but we have to do it more in line with what kids are talking about today."

" The plots are action-oriented, filled with chases and fights. Each character possesses a special crime-fighting power."

:baby:

i once drew a gangster version of bugs bunny... he was more 20's gangster than hardcore rap gangster though. he had a carrot through his ear.

Re: The Re-Imagined Bugs Bunny.. Get Ready to Cry

That's horrible. What has the world come to?

If things keep going like this, I will totally be cool with being like an old person yelling at kids about the good old days of real cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory and Family Guy.

Euuhhhh..... what the hell?!

That's all that needs to be said.

Re: The Re-Imagined Bugs Bunny.. Get Ready to Cry

Well, when you think about it, is it possible to live up to the original? Obviously not, They will never be able to re-create a character that everyone knows and loves. My opinion on the new character is that the show and everything else will fail because they're morons for trying to do this.

Pack dat sheet

Looks horrible, but I'll have to watch an episode to see how it is. I loved watching the old WB cartoons on Nick growing up. Sad to see this happening.

That kinda reminds of the eps where Bugs confronts the mob (rep for anyone who remembers the name of the little mob boss)...or Daffy as Duck Twacy.

They 'Teen Titaned' it. :shakehead

As if the sharp ears and hands weren't bad enough, they gave him Teen Titan Robin eyes.

Thank you Teen Titans, for staining the classic image of American cartoons with your terrible design.

I'm very sad by this news. I love Bugs Bunny. He doesn't need to change his image. He can totally be up-to-date with new pranks and such...

This news made my foreheard crinkle in disappointment

/me walks away shaking head in shame

This is a sad day for all of mankind... I hope my dad never sees or hears anything about this new Bugs Bunny... Me and him used to always watch the Bugs Bunny show when I was a little kid.... This is really sad.

Re: The Re-Imagined Bugs Bunny.. Get Ready to Cry

Agreed with all the statements so far. Absolutely horrible design. Can't anybody make new characters anymore. Ruin those. Don't go back and dig out people's childhood memories because it's easier than being creative.

Why do people do this? They should just make an entirely new show with new characters. I hate when they recreated old characters.

Sander Schwartz needs to be murdered or at least brutally beat for thinking that this was a good idea.

Who the f*** really thinks that the wit and humor is going to be the same? Thats a load of s***

What we're doing is taking Bugs Bunny, a classic and changing him for the kids – making him fresh, cool and hip.
They have yet to accomplish that goal.

Lol. This is one of the most hilariously horrible things I have ever seen.

Loony Toons was my favorite show as a kid...and I STILL watch it when its on. There are so many classics...."Kill the Wabbit! Kill the Wabbit! Wiff my magic golden swing shot!"
hehe...good times.

This is just dumb.

But GM, I actually like Teen Titans. :D

I hate to say it, but I actually think that's pretty cool. :D

I never liked Loony Tunes though... perhaps I'm happy that they abandoned the old stuff..

The last good cartoon to appear on the WB was Animaniacs in my opinion.

i liked the old tazmanian devil, the episodes with him were the best! *sigh* WB needs to be blown to peices!...well, their cartoon section anyway.

even buzz bunnies voice sounds retarded! GAH! they will all die!!!

This really seems like a practical joke to me. The "What's up doc" voice had me cracking up because it was so terrible. "Spaz" for "Taz"? Jesus....

I like the line:

Seem framiliar? What? Who's she kidding?
