Seriously, who here thinks that GCN physically looks better then X-Box or PS2???
I mean, forget the controller. GCN controller is probably the best i have ever played in, comfy , light fits right in my hand.
But i'm talking about the console it self, i mean X-Box is pure sweet and PS2 is elegant in it self. But GCN, even though smal and protable, has to be the ugliest of them all.
Don't you agree?

P.S. I want your poinion, if you gonna bash me cuz i said something against GCN then go start another thread about how i'm dissing GCN.

I have a black cube, and it looks pretty sweet.

To tell you the truth, I don't care about what system looks the best, it's what system plays the best. The GameCube could be the ugliest thing you've ever seen, but hey, if it plays good -- that's all that matters to me.

I think Gamecube looks better than Xbox... but it doesn;t look as good as Ps2...

Xbox is big and ugly... and when it starts to pick up dust it looks horrible.

But anyways, what I really wanted to say was that I thought the Xbox Limited Edition that was released in Japan looked pretty cool. I don't know what it would have looked like after gathering dust, but I just have a weakness for transparency.

I think the Xbox is huge, but it looks cool. The ps2 is pure black, which i like. GCN looks a bit weird, but i still like it.

Xbox, ps2, then GCN.

Though i like GCN's uniqueness.

The Nintendo GameCube reminds me of the ill-faited Power Mac G4 Cube. Anyway, X-Box, from my point of view is the most astheticly impressive console of the three, but the SONY PlayStation 2 gives it a good run for it's money.

I like NGC's design kinda... in any color... Black, Purple, or even that Spice color they have in Japan...

But it's not as good as PS2 :p

Minus the size, I think Xbox has the best overall design. I can't stand how the PS2 looks. GCN isn't so great...especially that handle.

Yeah I don't like NGC's handle either.....

I think it looks neat... the neat little blue and green lights... the little grooves or ridges or whatever they would be.... and the blue PS2 logo thing on top (and BTW, I like blue :D)

Plus the nice big flat top area makes it easy for me to stack some games and the controllers on top and carry it downstairs...

I don't get it... some people say it looks like a VCR... but errr really it doesn't... :D

If you want to compare consoles, we have a console debate board (Fight Club). This board is for people who want to talk about Gamecube, not little Mr. Xbox fan who claims to hate Gamecube yet you can't stop talking about it. You remind me of those kids in Jay and Silent Bob.

I like what my Gamecube looks like, its small black and slick...i have no problems with it.

I think that the three systems are not ugly at all. But the one that is least appealing is XBox. GCN and PS2 look sweet, though when I see the PS2 in a vertical stand, I hate it.

Id just like to butt in and say that the handel can be very useful sometimes. Makes it much easier to carry.

I think that the PS2 is very, very easy to move. I just wrap all the cords around the PS2, and carry it to wherever I need to go. I haven't tried the GCN handle yet, so I cannot fairly judge.

Well, I've never actually carried the gamecube around with the handle, but I'd assume it does make it easier to carry... as long as you're not carrying much more than just the system... like I said, PS2's nice flat, fairly big top makes it easy to carry it along with games and controllers and such stacked on top... If you carry NGC by the handle, it means you'd have to carry games, controllers, etc in that one extra hand, which sounds pretty hard to me ;)

I guess Xbox's fairly flat top could act the same way as PS2... only thing is you might pull your back out trying to lift it... :D

I like the black cube the best out of all the cubes. I still think teh Xbox is too big to be considered pretty. I guess I like the PS2's design the best.

I like how all the systems look, but my favorite is the gamecube because of the size and the 4 controller ports, and then the ps2. the Xbox looks great too but it's just too big. Maybe if it was smaller I would have liked it better.

I Have a Black GameCube and it looks beutiful better than XBox and a god competitor with PS2

Well I like the black GC best of all....then ps2, then Xbox....however it Xbox was a little..well ok a lot smaller and if it got rid of that green orb and replaced it with something better, then Xbox would be my first choice....the ps2 design is cool, but for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. :unsure:

I want to get my gamecube painted all gold except for the power button and controller plate thing which I want silver... from colorconsoles.com...

but it costs like 35 bucks :baby:

but if I got the money, I could get it painted all neat, modded with a japanese/US switch thing, and have the LED light switched to blue (I like blue) for 52 bucks...

Although that's a bit much to pay for looks... which is why I cried about it earlier ;)

But it would look so neat... :( Maybe better than PS2... Maybe I should just keep the power button and controller plate thing the way they are though... or maybe paint it black... *rubs chin*

I Idiot would like to make an ammendment. In my earlier post in this topic I said that I found the X-Box the best looking console, followed by the PS2. However, what I meant to say was that the X-Box was the ugliest console followed by the PS2. Thank-you for your time.
