The US Army's MJOLNIR armor

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
It's neat how they're implementing sensors for threat, and then functionss that provide treatment.

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
Motion sensors for threat... I thought people hate "gay-dar"... heh, they hate it in halo cause it gives an advantage.
do you think they make that stuff up so people will join... I mean come on, armor that increases your strength by 3 times? chameleon armor that changes colors? if this stuff is actually true and tested... every soldier needs to have it within 10 years... how many people would volunteer for the army then? This is borderline super soldier. We just need to start up with the bio engineering... the US could have an unstoppable army. *imagines Reach* that is some seriously cool stuff, I saw that liquid armor stuff on the discovery channel. I could see people smacking each other with rocks to activate the hardening agent.... I wonder, if it goes back to normal flexibility after impact....Dont see why not... |

The future is bleak

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
The ability to blend in with any environment is so cool. The next best thing would be cloaking just like an alien Predator. I also think the super strength is neat. Now they need to implement devices that could make people jump higher and run faster. And once all of this is readily availble and supplied to the army, they have to start marketing a toned down version of the 'Super Suit' to rich young adults and teenagers.

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
mario, exactly.. I wasn't saying there is only one way to ACT but people who never leave their rooms don't have jobs, and are a downgrade on any moral society.. Those are the people that need to ACT not critisize. And Typhoid next time you think canada is so free walk into your local subway and piss on the cheese. And tell me what happens.

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
Wow. Make us wear 10x the gear, then increase our strength by 3. Helpful, really.

Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
Gekko, it's supposted to be a super light liquid that will replace the metal plates in the current body armor.. I'm all for that. :)
|
Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
I hate SAPI plates, but theres better ways to spend our money then on this trash.
|
Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
True.. I agree with that..

I say america's army should all be decked out in darth vader suits, complete with breathing sound effects.
|
Re: The US Army's MJOLNIR armor
Lol, can you imagine the enemy shivering in their boots when they hear the sounds of thousands of Darth Vader breathing units coming their way?
