Ah man...Good stuff. We have a long wait. Reminds me that I need to see Up as soon as possible. Though I can't decide between that and Drag Me To Hell, hmm..

This and Up both look very good. Pixar is just a money making machine!

This doesn't say a thing about the quality of the movie. Actually I hope it doesn't, because I thought it was pretty boring.

I wonder how Ice Age 3 will turn out. 1 and 2 were great (better than Toy Story 2 imo).

Never saw any of the Ice Age movies. Might have to check those out.

Well noooo shit Sherlock. It's a teaser and nothing more, although a good one.

I thought it was a bit been-there-done-that. Woody being put in the shadow of Buzz. And all the jokes the others made were also pretty standard.
When you've filled 2 movies with the same characters, you just need some new kind of humor/personality.

So that's what I mean. They better come up with something better than this.
And I don't see how 1 trailer makes everybody say how awesome Pixar is.

I'm saying how awesome Pixar is based on their record.
Love Toy Story 1/2, Incredibles, Wall-E, Ratouttile (Spellling?), Finding Nemo

I enjoy Monsters Inc

Have yet to see Cars

Might be missing one or two.

Drag Me to Hell is hilariously fun. I have to watch Evil Dead again!

June 18th can't come out soon enough. I saw this trailer when I caught the 3D double feature which was awesome.

Andy going to college can't be any worse than all the time Andy masturbated in front of Woody and Buzz. If he's anything like me he even went through the tube sock phase.

While I'm trying to ignore the post above, I have a post for all ages:

Yesterday I suddenly realized how clever Pixar is. Andy going to college. Moving out. All the kids who saw Toy Story have done so. Pixar has tapped a very good audience. And they're undoubtly reaching new, young audiences.

Very clever. Really looking forward to it.

(Oh and I laughed out loud at the 'Ok, let's see how much we go for on Ebay!' joke.)

Don't worry, we all learn to ignore KG at times.

But I guess, it makes sense for Andy to go away to school.. I'm just shocked he kept all his toys throughout high school. Unless they were put away that entire time which would be sad as well.

Also, I hope they don't reuse the Buzz doesn't know he is a toy bit for too long.

I was in Montreal for a conference a few months ago and had dinner with a few Pixar dudes, in particular the animation director on Toy Story 3. God damn he was young. We got plastered and bitched about a lot of crap in the industry and he told me and my buddy how much he hated Toy Story 3. Something about a new director girl who didn't know shit, I can't remember.

But anyways, not really feeling this movie, to be honest. i like Toy Story because of the memories, and didn't care for part 2. When I see these movies being made, all I can think about is the merchandise it's being made to sell.

The monkey creeped you out? What about the baby? That thing is going to give me nightmares!

And I did NOT need to see the inside of an infant's mouth that close up.

Re: Toy Story 3

I enjoyed the movie.

Had me on the verge of tears at some points.

If I had to list some complaints, I really don't think they needed to do the Buzz thinks he is a toy gimmick for a 3rd time (yes, I realize in the 2nd movie it was another Buzz, but the part has been in all 3 movies!)

And second, the toys have an insane sense of direction.

Though I will say the part where they all accepted their death and were holding hands. :(

Re: Toy Story 3

Saw it today, loved it. The baby was definitely nightmare worthy.

Only craziness was that the power went out in the theater. Amazingly it happened early in the film when Buzz says "how can this be happening." The film reel slowed so it was in slow-motion...Perfect timing

Loved the addition of Totoro from Miyazaki in the film. Gave me a smile.

I don't think the dude knew what he was talking about. Saw it last night and it was perfect, probably my favorite in the series.
