Abusing the User Rating Privalege
 

My thread "Now that was a party" seemed to struck somebody in the wrong way. I thought it was quite a positive thread, showing some fun pics from the concert, and describing how fun it was. But an individual named Jewels seemed to disagree with the whole "SARS relief" issue. She gave me a negative rating on my original post in the thread... And her comment was:

"you suck **** break"

Now is it just me, or is that uncalled for? I mean, it was such a positive thread, yet this individual had to act immature to it.

So, my question to all of you is, should we limit this rating system? I mean, getting a negative rating is sort of a set back, especially when the comment is "you suck **** break". Thanks a lot, jewels.

I guess Jewels didn't know that since you have such a high level, you can see the name's of the people who give you reputation. I'm sure she didn't intend for you to know it was her.

I too, was the victim of the reputation harassment and have been taken advantage of several times. I think we should start a User Group entitled Reputation Harassment. A place for people like you and me who are taken advantage of and need a place to talk about it. And yes, it's time to can the reputation, invisible mode is a right, not a privelidge.

You guys got nothing to bitch about. Stonecutter has gotten bad feedback from me numerous times, and it drops 25 a pop. Jewels is nothing.

somebody -rep'd me cuz my sig was 2 big...this whole reputation thing can't be used if theres some retard going around doing this stuff. maybe you should only be allowed to give/take rep after a certain post count, say 200.... or so, just to clear most of the newbies out

I got about 10 -reps from the same person. But, out of respect, I'll allow that person to reveal him/herself rather than I.

But yeah, I guess people don't know the correct way to give negative reputation.

I feel for you Stoney C!!

My user rating has been abused. GameMaster gave me negative rep in dirtysarpet's Gamecube topic in the GCN forum. He deserves negative rep for what he has done to my beautiful rep. I didn't deserve this! I'm really mad!

Umm what's the difference between rep and the magical golden stars? It confuddles me...
