Rasslin' Trivia

I've decided to start up a wrestling trivia game here in the Sports Fprum. I know there are several knowledgeable wrestling fans here so I won't be pulling any punches. Keep in mind, all questions are fair as they will be coming from my brain and not some book.

Point Tally:

Bond: 5 Points
Chris: 3 Points
NYGiant: 5 Points
BAB: 7 Points

Here's question #1:

Who was the Undertaker's FIRST manager when he was first introduced as Kane the Undertaker? 1 Point extra credit if you include his manager's real name.

First correct answer gets the points, but the extra cerdit will be avaiable to the first who names it.

GameMaster 05-31-2003 02:41 PM

Jake Funmore?

Professor S 05-31-2003 02:42 PM

Who the Hell is Jake Funmore?

No

Bond 05-31-2003 02:52 PM

Brother Love?

His real name is Bruce Pritchard I believe.

Professor S 05-31-2003 03:28 PM

DING DING DING!!! And the extra credit.

BTW, GameMaster I think you were thinking of Jackie Fullmore(sp?)

Bond gets 4 points.

Next Question, 2 Points:

Who is the longest running HEEL World Champion in WWWF/WWF/WWE history? Extra Credit: Who was HIS manager?

GameMaster 05-31-2003 04:51 PM

Hulk Hogan

Joeiss 05-31-2003 08:21 PM

Perfect Stu 05-31-2003 08:36 PM

Macho Man Randy Savage

Elizabeth

Bond 05-31-2003 08:47 PM

Bruno Sammartino?

His manager was The Grand Wizard.

GameMaster 06-01-2003 02:45 AM

Bruce Springston

Manager: The Jack Hammer

Joeiss 06-01-2003 10:57 AM

You are just not funny at all.

BreakABone 06-01-2003 12:33 PM

We all know the answer to this one

Triple H
Manager: Ric Flair
Lenght of title run: From now still the end of time.

Maybe I'm thinking too recently, but I'll say Yokozuna's title reign after beating Hogan, not losing it until Bret hart beat him at WM X. Yoko's manager was Mr. Fuji of course.

Professor S 06-01-2003 06:06 PM

Wrong,
wrong,
wrong,
wrong,
wrong,
wrong.

HHH has had a long run, but nowhere close to the longest.

Bruno Sammartino was a face, not a heel.

Hulk Hogan never had a heel championship run in the WWWF/WWF/WWE, only in WCW.

Bruce Springston is a cover band in Asbury Park, NJ.

Yokozuna is a good guess, but too recent.

Clue: Except for Bond you are all thinking way to much into the modern era.

Bonus Clue: Bond gets the 1 point extra credit for getting the manager right, even though the Grand Wizard never managed Sammartino to my knowledge. Sammartino's manager was Arnold Skaaland I think, but I'm not positive.

nWoCHRISnWo 06-01-2003 06:10 PM

Superstar Billy Graham then.

Edit~ And on the topic of title reigns, I got a trivia question. Not counting for points or anything as it's Strangler's game and not mine, I'd not want to take over the thread. :)

But anyhoo, who had the longest title reign in WWWF/WWF/WWE, counting ANY Championship Belt, not just the World?
