Tournament Round 1: Link vs. Cloud
 

Which one would win in a battle with consideration of each's battle style, weapons, magic, whatever.

Cloud = Omnislash. Enough said.

Im going to have to go with link. His assembly of items can be built to the point that he cant get hurt.

Cloud can equip any kind of materia. Black magic, summoning, etc. I don't think Link's arsenal of items can stand up to Ultima, Kinghts of the Round, Flare, Fire 3, etc. But that's just IMO.

Before I get started with links offense, Ill point out something in his defense: He has Nayrue's love as a protection force feild against any attack, though it takes up potion. Yet, in MM he gets an item that gives him unlimited magic potion.

Then for an attack angle, his different mask would help. Onilink has a huge sword, and Giant Link makes him..huge. Speedmask, and bomb mask, many many mask. And his many weapon...If I can find all his weapons, Ill try to make a list.

EDIT: Nevermind that list. I noticed how much I would have gotten myself into. Too many, and some are variations of others.

cloud does over 150,000 dmg in FF7...link on the other hand can't even beat ganondorf with one hit in OoT...and there isn't a single move in the game that can beat him in 1 move...so yeah...cloud...and even if link does the love shield thingy, he can't attack during that time...so no point in that if you ask me.

He can attack when he has his force feild on. :)
