seeing what was called "progress" from Halo to Halo 2...

isn't the xbox360 a next gen console?

So has anyone else played this yet? I got the chance to and its pretty fun....for like an hour. To be fair though there are few maps available and i could only get in on 3-4 game types. The new special weapons offer something new, or can be a little annoying. I got to use the Spartan laser its pretty nifty, but you got to charge it up for a bit, so you are a bit of a target before you get to unleash the mayhem. The new Brute pistol seems to me like a sub-par smg, but it has more ammo. The assault rifle is your bread and butter unless you like to get snipe shots in. You are able to pick up a turret and walk around with it at your waste to blast people. its nice but you're slow as hell. The Mongoose is well just another way to get around, though the passanger room is nice. Thats really all i can think of for this moment.

I bought Crackdown yesterday and played a few games of the beta. It's decent so far. Too early to pass judgement though.

I've played all sorts of games. I do like the new game types a lot. They HAVE TO FIX THE GRENADES. I mean, three grenades directly on a warthog will not blow it up. So if you plasma charge a vehicle, sure it disables it, but good luck trying to blow it up, you're still going to get gunned down before you get a chance, and it will drive away.

FIX THE GRENADES!!!!! Also, FIX THE MELEE. Bring the melee lunge back for the love of god!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it's pretty good. I don't like it as much as Turok though, but then again I'm pretty biased because I play one 8 more hours in the day than the other.

I was skeptical about the graphics too, but damn, once I played it I knew it looked good. Not the level you'd expect, of course. That was the consensus among my friends. To say it looks exactly like Halo 2 is a little ignorant.

What Turok game do you mean Dyne? I'm interested in a góód Turok game, but the latest ones (actually since the original) haven't been that great.

So the new Turok game has good multiplayer? What about singleplayer, did you play that? I just want to walk in the jungle and fight dinosaurs.

Yeah, I do a little of both.

I think you'll be satisfied as far as walking around and killing dinosaurs goes. Maybe a little more, who knows. :D
