Okay... this is it, the "Master List" of appearances.
If you haven't replied to this thread yet, it will probably be too late for me to put you in. Actually, you have about 2 weeks, but after the headquarters is designed (each person has their own room and whatnot), I can no longer accept more people in the RPG. BTW, this game will be available to everyone, no need to download a special program or anything. It is a "game disk" which will be in a zip folder, approx 25 - 35 MB. Right now the approx. release date is December 2003. Ok, this is the list: Recruitable Characters Mandatory (meaning that these characters will automatically be recruited some time during the game): Hero Vampyr DarkMaster Segaman Gekko CamFu GameMaster Jason1 Joeiss BreakABone Crono Bond GameKing Stu Spike Spiegal Optional (meaning you have to find these characters and recruit them yourself): Rndm_Perfection Stonecutter BlueFire Ginkasa DeathsHand Dylflon Crono_Link Germanator magus113 Jonbo Ominub Fission Mailed Happydude Hero2 Yoda9864 Non-Recruitable Characters: Neo Crash Dyne PureEvil Aaand, heres the recruitable characters list, divided into who is playable (which means you can use them in regular battles), and non-playable (can't use them in regular battles, but can use them in the Army battles as Generals/Unit Captains). Playable: Hero Rndm_Perfection DarkMaster Segaman Gekko CamFu GameMaster Stonecutter Jason1 Joeiss BlueFire Ginkasa DeathsHand Vampyr BreakABone Dylflon Crono_Link The Germanator magus113 Yoda Non-Playable: Crono Bond GameKing Jonbo Stu Ominub FissionMailed HappyDude TheGame Spike Spiegal Hero2 jeepnut I already have everyone's sprite and whatnot... plus I have all the games locations planned out and everything, as well as the basis of the story. It took me about 3 days to do all this planning, I will be starting the official production very soon (within a few days). Finally, here is the type of features you can expect to see: - Over 30 recruitable characters - Assemble a headquarters for your army, watch your castle grow as more people are recruited. - Three types of battles, including Regular Battles, Duels, and Large-Scale Army Battles. - Experience a game that is a total rip off of the Suikoden series. (lmao, without the awesome story of course...) Okay, so that's it for now. There's a few more things I need to do before I actually start, like collecting chipsets, ripping mp3s, collecting the rest of the faces, and all of the sprites. Keep in mind though, if you don't hear from me in a while, it's not because I quit.. it's just that the production is taking longer than expected. I can tell you, though, that the first demo should be ready near the end of september. |

Yeah, you can. I think Rndm is doing all the converting to .wav (maybe ripping was the wrong word... heh), so send it to him when you get the chance. The program doesn't work on my computer for some odd reason.

I could do theme songs... it would be interesting. But I'm not going to collect any songs at the moment, I have too many other things I need to get done.

Hmm, now that I take a second look at my Vampire getup, I... don't know. I sort of would like to be like Yam Koo, of course story-permitting though, if his bright blue threads are too... you know.

Ok, I am going to tell everyone this now. Production will be extremely slow for the next week or so. Tonight I'm leaving for the weekend and next week I won't be online much during the day, if at all. Then school starts on Sep 2. During the school week I should be able to get 1 hour of development in, and more on the weekend. It may take a little longer than expected, but will be completed. The first thing I have to do is make everyone's char set and battle sprite, which will be one of the longest and more challenging parts.
And Dyne, we need to talk about your role in the RPG. Honestly I don't think Yam Koo would suit it... I am leaving later tonight for the weekend so hopefully we can talk before then. If not we will have to talk on Sunday. I'll try to be on MSN for most of the day. And Nemesis, pick a sprite (preferably from Suikoden 1/2 as they seem to be the easiest to rip) and tell me what kind of role you'd like and we'll see what we can work out. |
