my new desktop.
pika should like this one. :p |
Why are Linux users so bitter? ;)
|
ahhh. tis a screen for the blind.
damn thoes icons are big. lol |
I'm not blind, I just like big icons. :)
That, and I like being able to exercise my freedom of choice to have icons any size I want. Something not present on a significant other OS... |
which OS on that?
linux can. easy as pie. Windows can. little tricky, but it can be done. but majority of users dont want icons big like that. lol. tis for thoes old ladies who have the 1 inch thick glasses. lol ;) |
Null, Null, Null...
Trapped in a world where freedom is not allowed and creativity is forbidden, poor guy. ;) I'm not an old lady (although at one time I may have said that here) and I'm not blind. I don't wear glasses or contacts. Good day sir. |
lol since you need such big things to read.......
i think your slightly not knowing what im running on my sys man. I have more freedom than you. ;) theres a reason tho why companies dont advertise.. "big giant ass icons" when they talk about thier OS tho. :) |

Ok gekko, I know you didn't go out and buy Keynote so I think you have some explaining to do. :D

basically because everything in linux is Open Source. ;P And gekko, you have the blue version of that background wif the shrooms? me likes the blue one. i loves transparent windows too. hehehe |
Yes, I have all the digital blasphemy images. I was just messing with my desktop once, and decided to put this one on instead of searching for the blue again.
Oh ya, this was the holiday version of the drawing. That's why I left it up. Only a month late :) |
Windoze... Yeah I'm still running my Good Ol' Win98 GUI on my Gateway 2000, my Alienware is in the shop (again) for a new PSW now (Whena re theyg onna fix this POS?), so I can't print my lame Desktop.
HOWEVER... Once I aqquire enough revanue to finihs, I will BUILD a PC, I have a Non-Refundable copy of WIndows ME, which should be userful while learning Linux, which will be Dual-Booted with Eatheir Redhat Linux 8, or SuSE, I'm leaning more tworads RedHat though, and I'm going t pay the $70.00 at my local "Staples' for a Manual made out of this wonderful inventiona called "paper" that I can use if anything should go wrong, unlike Windoze which needs a 24/7 automated tech Support line and a 26 Volume "Manual" for each version of 'doze to be understood. I love Linux, I can't afford a Mac, but I can make a WIntel PC into a LIntel PC very easily, without too much of a headache and unlike WIndoze Linux won't crash. I wish I could get a Mac and run Linux on it, that'd bea dream come true. *Muttters "Damn Gekko and his damn Linux Mac, and his Damn Plasma Screen and Import Cube!...Probably the low-end model!"* Yes gekko, I'm jealous, I admitit, you beat me to Linux and Mac you lousy SOB, I think once I'm through with Windoze I'll used the CD as a frisbee ;) |
You can run Linux on a PowerPC. But since Mac OS X is a unix OS, I just use that.
