You can't be crazy, because a crazy person would never realize/admit he's crazy.

We're renaming and redesigning all the characters for the webcomic. Got a few in the hole but I like how this one came out the most so far:

Re: Character Sketches
Heh, the stars were actually unintentional. Tried to give it a black background and I guess the page was dirty since it left all those spots. Decided to go with it rather than clean it up. :)

If you mean in the redesign/renaming process, you already were. If asking something else, not quite sure. |
Re: Character Sketches
Hey BaB and Dan, I met 3 women from New York last weekend. One of them only spoke Spanish (I think 2 of them were afro-American). They were visiting the convention in Dortmund, Germany.
It was funny, when I met them, 1 of them said "Ah! We meet again! Did you have fun??" "Uhm... yeah... but I don't remember... meeting you..." Then she said I had a doppelgänger. Who spoke Chinese. I doubt it was Chinese, people aren't often that good at recognizing strange alphabets. |
Re: Character Sketches
Well I wouldn't be surprised if there were several Angrist lookalikes in NYC who speak Chinese. Saw one of them out of the corner of my eye not too long ago...well he was whiteish, tallish, and lighthairish. I just remember him because my ex (who's Chinese) pointed out to me that he spoke better Chinese than her.
Might be easy enough for them being from NYC to distinguish Chinese. It is for me at least. Whereas some European languages I have a hard time telling apart from one another. Depends on what you're used to hearing. |
Re: Character Sketches
They saw him in Dortmund, and they had spoken with him. He had told them his plans, I suppose for diner.
But I see BaB here all the time. Outside of Fallout 3. |
Re: Character Sketches
![]() Here is the evolution of Axon, formally Dylflon. The first was what Dylflon asked for when first designed. When me and BAB decided to turn it into a webcomic started to redesign the characters. Tried for a straitjacketish look but came out looking too princely. BAB suggested ripped clothing and then got the next. The next arose from testing out colors. He didn't mesh with the other Coalition members who were more spandex inclined. A few sketches between that one and the final. Pure spandex wouldn't work with the character so decided to make him a cutter and thus the bandages and kept the coat with the three straps. Ta da, Axon is born. |
