Why not? Members can give each other doubloons for any reason at all (so long as Kitana85 approves). And the more things you can buy with doubloons, the better the system will work.

Just one more query: Why in the hell are these things called "doubloons"??

I think it may have something to do with the whole pirate theme they're using for it, hence the forum name "Treasure Trove". Doubloons were a type of currency back in the days of pirates I think......but I'm probably wrong :unsure:.
