Not as weird as saying if you were a girl you'd be a lesbian, like I heard a bunch of people here say before in some topic...

So I watched the movie and liked it (though probably not for the same reasons as everyone else).

The only problem with my viewing experience was that there was a guy who fell asleep in the audience. Now, I find it mighty impressive that somebody managed to fall asleep through Kill Bill. But that's not the problem. The problem was that he snored. And the louder the movie got, the louder he snored. So all the dramatic silences in the movie got ruined because while Uma Thurman was staring coldly at her target or something, we'd be getting this rumble from over on my right.

It made me want to take out my knife and throw it at him. The aim would have been kind of tricky in the dark, though. But seriously, why would you go to a movie just to sleep through it? It was just a good thing the theater was relatively empty (since it was Wednesday night). Otherwise, that guy would have gotten in big trouble.

You should have just thrown some popcorn at him.

Awww... y'mean I'm not allowed to believe that if I were born a female I'd be treated as I have been all my life and that I'd be "fed" the same hormones?

Nope! And no being homophobic and insecure about your masculinity allowed either...

Because I am Jesus...

What reasons would those be?

I don't eat at the movies. Just on principle, I refuse to pay three dollars for a coke. Thus, alas, I didn't have anything (non-lethal) to throw.

I enjoyed all the little touches like the way the swordmaker wrote the word "Bill" or the fact that Uma Thurman is wearing a suit like Bruce Lee wore in his last movie or the way Tarantino adds all these lines that are spoken in other kung fu movies all the time ("If in your quest you should meet God, God will be cut").

The movie is an homage to kung fu movies rather than a kung fu movie itself. That's the level I enjoyed it on.

Oh, and the music was pretty good, too.

When I saw the movie and they showed the word "Bill" on the sword, I jumped out of my seat and started cheering...

I'm cheap, therefor I enjoy buying goods at stores before attending films. God Bless large pockets.

All coming from the master behind Wu-Tang Clan. Pretty impressive stuff from RZA.

Well, some of it anyway. I highly doubt that Hotei Tomoyasu (composer of the guitar riff during Lucy Liu's slow walk) is a member of the Wu-Tang clan. Nor do I think the Wu-Tang clan wrote the Green Hornet Theme. ;)

The other stuff was good, though.
