Bad choice. There should always be more characters but never the removal of previous fighters.

As for move sets being remade. Good! Shiek is overpowered and cheap. Mewtwo needs some stronger moves.

Come on, who actually liked Dr. Mario? He was Mario/Luigi all over again. They could of course give Mario some of Dr. Mario's attacks.

Excuse me, but in the original smash bros Luigi and Mario weren't exactly the same. It was Luigi's superior jumping that lead me to choose him in the first SSB.

I know, but the difference was just too small imo. Sure, having 2 'versions' of a fighter is fun, a lot of games have that. But I can understand they're cutting back on some. But Dr. Mario is the only one I really won't miss.

Actually Luigi was a bit different than Mario in Melee especially when they had one attack different which really changes stuff around.

In the E3 trailer and announcement of Super Smash Bros Brawl, after the Nintendo character Wario is introduced, an explosion is set off. From a distance, the shot then shows what looks very similiar to an atomic blast. "In a tragedy that killed over 200,000 people, this is not what Id like to call quality family entertainment," said Miyosho Kazuwaski, President of the Atomic Rememberence Committee. Nintendo has yet to comment.

And just when I thought people couldn't get any more idiotic, someone compares the tradegy of Horishima and Nagasaki to an explosive fart. Bra-f*cking-vo Atomic Rememberence Committee.

As opinion-based as this gets, I don't consider Hiroshima and Nagasaki a tragedy. Not in WW2. We even warned them. It was their own fault.

Chernobyl was a tragedy. Unleashing the a-bomb, although a long term problem, resolved WW2.

People get offended way too easily though. I remember reading a list of songs and things that "should be banned" after 9/11. They even wanted to change the name of The Two Towers. Because...you know...tolkien named his novel that to offend the victims of 9/11... back in 1954.

Well except for the fact that they really didnt give Japan time to surrender after the first dropping. I mean 3 days between droppings was definately not enough time. Nobody knew what happened to hiroshima after the Enola Gay dropped Fat man (the bomb) on the city because practicly every communication line was gone, so many died and no one could get word out.

I somewhat agree to the first dropping, becuase the U.S. saw what that the Japanese would fight to the death and they wanted to spare thier soldiers lives, and yes the allies warned Japan at the Potsdam conference, saying we posses a weapon that will utterly anhiliate you, but remember that no one had seen a weapon that was that destructive and most of it was played off as propoganda.

There has even been speculation that Japan would have surrendered on its own since it's German ally was defeated and that the Soviet Union declared war on Japan as negotiated at (Yalta? Casablaca?) conference.

but this is opinion biased, and not trying to stir up an arguement, just my 2 cents.

Yeah, no one really knew exactly how bad the bomb would be.

I would consider it a tragedy for all of the civilian lives that were lost. I understand your view point, but would you just blow it off and say its our fault if somebody nuked us?
