Funny story: my friend pretended to be emo for a day. We beat him up. He still has marks on his back.

I wasnt joking actually, and I only label myself as a joke. I think its stupid to label anyone.

Plus, I dont really follow any set styles, I go from preppy, to "emo" to jock styles all within a week. So I guess you can call me a...umm...Premock?


I just actually do hate the anti-emo movement.

So what if people call themselves emo? Do people not call themselves Preps, stoners, jocks, skaters, or punks? Why not harp on those kids?

Oh, I know why. Because its popular and trendy to hate emo kids right now.

Just like 10 years ago after the downfall of grunge, and there were still punky grunge stoners.

I'd also like to add "People who obviously are emo, and obviously try to be, but deny it."

For example: Man #1, wearing tight, girl jeans and a tight, XxSlitMyWristsWithMyBleedingHeartValveWhileSuffocatingxX hoodie is walking down the street... His hair, dyed jet black with blonde highlights covering one of his eyes... A piercing on the right side of his bottom lip... His belt studded...

Man #2 yells out an insult, labeling him "Emo" in the process...

Man #1 responds "I'm not Emo! This is just me, I'm expressing myself!"...

Man #1 hopefully then accidentally walks out into traffic while his head is turned to yell at Man #2...

Actually I believe it's popular and trendy to BE and emo kid right now...

That's like saying a few years ago it was popular and trendy to hate Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys...

And personally, my dislike of people who label themselves applies to all those groups, punks, goths, etc... As does the scenario of denying the label when it is beyond obvious...

This is from a few nights ago when two of my friends and I walked through our neighborhood with a CD mix blaring on my Boombox. Songs consisted of "Stayin Alive" by the BeeGees, "Sittin At A Bar" by Rehab, and other such jingles. There was strutting... lots of it :)
