In any case... thats the answer no doubt about it.

Ever thought maybe your teacher was one of those pricks that twisted riddles to fit a situation? Ever also thought that just about all of these riddles have multiple answers, including the ones in which you first posted that I answered "incorrectly?"

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

a man walks into a bar and orders a glass of water. the bartender pulls out a gun and points at him, and the man says thank you and leaves. why?

and this one's just funny so i'm going to post it AND it's answer because there's NO WAY that anyone would get it:

A man goes to a restaurant, orders albatross, takes one bite, leaves the restaurant and shoots himself. Why?

ANSWER: The man was stranded on a desert island with himself, his wife and a stranger. One day, the stranger came to him telling him his wife had been killed by wild animals on the other side of the island. That evening, the stranger made dinner for the man out of an albatross that he had found. After the man was rescued, on suspicion, he went to a restaurant and ordered albatross, tasted it, realized that he had eaten his wife on the island and committed suicide.

I actually answered Counterfeit way while back, and he completely missed it and posted the riddle again. Is when I answered Counterfeit AGAIN, and thats probably when you answered BreakAbone...

Look at the previous posts at the first time he asked the question.

He's a riddle

You can look at it and see yourself.
You can touch it and not see yourself.
What is it?

Yes, thats correct.

It plays music,
But it's not readable
What is it?

A merry-go-round. Final answer. It is 100% correct and there are other possibilities too.

MuGen 03-17-2005 01:14 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

Cd/Vinyl still need to be read by magnetic laser or needle.

Merry-Go-Round is a good guess, and can work, but not the answer I'm looking for. But i'd imagine the music on the merry go round comes from a device that reads the music.

It's a music box. You open it up and the figure spins, and tuned platelets are hit by the turning gears inside to play a preprogrammed song. But it does not read something.

actually this could be a turntable too.

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

Turntables read Vinyl with a magnetic needle.

New Riddle:

I'm in your pants,
I'm important to your life,
I satisfy many people,
But I am easily lost.
What am I?

ah, but you said IT wasn't readable... you cannot read a turntable, therefore it could be an answer.

oh and it's money.

Maybe it's money... because riddles LOVE to assume that EVERYBODY has money in their pants.

I'm losing faith in riddles.

EDIT: Woops, Ulala already answered money.

I wish I would have answered Super Monkey Balls. :(

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

Ulala was correct in a sense. The answer was a wallet. Because It's important to your life, considering you carry your ID in there and such. This Riddle thread has gotten huuuuge.

New Riddle:

I'm the source of your hearing, but am very quiet.
I am not a part of your body.
What am I?

Dark Samurai 03-18-2005 11:09 AM

Hearing Aid?

MuGen 03-18-2005 11:19 AM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

That answer could work.... but not the answer I'm looking for. It's a riddle and they have several solutions but riddles usually have ONE solution they are looking for.

So, that's incorrect technically.

Let me rephrase it:

I play music, but everyone else can't hear me.
I am not a part of your body, but I go with you.
What am I?

Bube 03-18-2005 12:00 PM

Incorrect, no one can hear it.

I play music, but everyone else can't hear me.
I am not part of your body, But I go with you,
What am I?

I have billions of eyes, yet I live in darkness.
I have millions of ears, yet only four lobes.
I have no muscles, yet I move two hemispheres.
What am I?

What is the only question you can never answer "yes" to? (I'm not sure if this one works, but eh)

Well Danny got them both right.

I was watching an episode of Batman: The Animated Series and The Batman, you could probably guess who the villian was.

According to Wikipedia:

Quote:

In 2005, a new Riddler debuted in The Batman animated series. In this version, the Riddler has a very Gothic look, apparently inspired by Marilyn Manson, and is voiced by Robert Englund (best known for his role as a supernatural serial killer in A Nightmare On Elm Street).
Of course ruining classic cartoon images seems to be the trend these days. :(

My favorite renditions for all the characters can be seen here:

http://clampettstudio.com/opc/june2004/june_2004_dc.htm

I hope you agree with me, since you're the ultimate Batman fan.
