Re: Star Wars DVDs

George Lucas apparently said that when a Jedi becomes a spirit, it's in the form of the last time he/she was "pure" or what have you... That being Anakin when he was younger (As in before he becomes Darth Vader, which means when the age he's at when being played by Hayden Christensen in Episode 3)... Not when he was some sort of elderly or middle-aged-ish good Anakin which there never was (The original scene with Sebastian Shaw)...

*shrug*
I read it the other day in some looooong thread on a star wars fanatic message board, so I don't have a link or a direct quote...

I havn't seen the trilogy since the special edition came out on VHS... I never saw the big deal about things people complained about (Ewoks, for example... Or Greedo shooting first in the special edition) I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow hopefully... Yup...

I bought the Special Edition trilogy. I must say I'm very impressed, and it was definitely worth the money.

However, I think that the original trilogy should have been released on DVD as well. I've downloaded Laser Disc rips of the originals so that I can keep those alive too (the ones I've got are DVD quality widescreen - though they haven't been "degrained" so they're not as clean as the Special Edition). It's a shame they'll never officially be released on DVD.

They replaced Boba Fett's original voice with Temuera Morrison, who plays Jango Fett in the prequels. Makes sense to me. I have no problem with it.
boba fett is a clone of his father?

Boba is an unaltered clone of Jengo Fett

yep, clearly states it in Ep. II, the rest of the republican army (read "Empire Army") is made still of Jango Fett clones, except genetically modified to be perfect soldiors.

i was watching clone wars, and noticed that they were playing star wars pod racing (you know the game) in the cantina... weird...

Re: Star Wars DVDs

1) Its called Attack of the Clones, not Clone Wars
2) Why would it be weird? Bars in the real world show big sports games on TVs, right? Why would it be any different in the Star Wars galaxy?

Today I saw in the store that the widescreen collection is silver and the fullscreen collection is gold. They're also two different covers for both formats.

1. Which format did you get? Gold or silver?
2. Which cover art did you choose: Darth Vader or Luke and friends?

It's the same cover GM, it's just opposite sides.

And silver of course.

Pfft, pan and scam is for losers.
