But if you compare the PS controller setup to that of the SNES, you will see that Sony copied Nintendo. So your arguement becomes invalid.

But how can one copy something from someone when they made it WITH that someone?

Yeah, but Nintendo didn't make the Super Nintendo controller with Sony, and the agrument is that the PS controller looks like the SNES controller...The team up with Sony is somewhat irrelevant in this case.

How is it irrelevant? if nintendo made the PS controller with Sony, then how could sony of copied the design? has nothing to do with who made the SNES controller.

Re: Ps2 phr33ks...

Was there any actual proof that Nintendo actually helped design the PS controller? I know that Sony and Nintendo were in talks with the whole CD add-on deal, but did it ever get to the point where they actually designed the controller? I never remember reading about that, but if you could provide a link to a story or cite something from a book that'd be cool. Not trying to be a jerk, but I've never personally heard anything about Nintendo having any input about the PS controller.

Here is a press release from Nintendo:

"We helped Sony make the controller for the CD addition to the SNES. That is all."

Re: Ps2 phr33ks...

is that a factual statement?

all these arguments are invalid if it is...

besides, I only brought up the GameCube copying PS2 Dual Analog setup, because Jonbo brought up Sony copying Nintendo again.... when we clearly established the joint operation between the two companies...

I'm dropping this...

Will a mod close this thread? lol

again? Give me the proof I've said Sony copied Nintendo before this thread (and it has to be recent).

And all companies copy each other. I made a harmless joke. Maybe you happened to overlook that part.

But hey, this is my last post in this thread. I've had enough of people thinking I'm a blind fanboy that there is no use in attempting much here at GT because 75% of you look at me the wrong way.

R & C, J & D are geared towards the older audience, you dont see that with the badass additude, sarcasm, and occasional PG-13 lingo? I know what youre saying, i just disagree.

being geared towards older audience doesn't mean it's not played by younger kids, and such.

besides.. there are a lot more family oriented games I've failed to mention, and I'm not going to go through all the trouble to list them all.

Sports games are great family games too... it doesn't HAVE to be Mario and Luigi all the time. lol
