Bond: You, me, Stu... there's more than that. ;)
Yeah, I always say that... What if Nintendo had released something like the Xbox, while Microsoft released something like the Gamecube? You'd see a flip completely. I think Nintendo is trying to pull all strings to try to stay well ahead of the Xbox worldwide. |
If nintendo does it
gamecube is going to have massive sales increases, niot mention this is probably the megaton. Two words OH YEAH!

I guess this purchase would be good. I'm not a big Capcom player though. Except for the fighters like bobcat said.
|
When I first heard this im like WOOT CAPCOMAGE W00t!!!
But the more I think about it, I realise I have never really liked a Capcom game, besides their Zelda Oracle seires, but that hardley counts, they had help from Nintendo. The RE remake was OK, but not that good, IMO. I just dont care much for the gameplay. And Im not really a big fan of fighting games. But if this is true, it can only help the Cube, so that is good. |

Is Capcom the people that make Devil May Cry?
Oh well... If this is true, I just want my copy of Red Dead Revolver for PS2 and then Capcom can go. |
If this deal does go through ill be looking forward especially to tekken, and a few of the previous PS2 only titles :D

At any rate, Namco is supposedly bringing a special version of Soul Calibur 2 to GameCube with Link as a playable character...but then again, they also announced Tekken Tag Tournament for GCN over a year ago... Go fig...Capcom will probably help out sales with games like Breath of Fire, Devil May Cry, Dino Crisis, and Megaman games alongside the "Big 5" previously announced... -Official Ninja of [coming soon]... |

Capcom makes Street Fighter though... Maybe he was thinking of that :p But if Nintendo buys capcom, they'd get such games as Devil May Cry Onimusha Street Fighter uhhh others I can't think of right now :p But you all knew that..... except maybe Gamer... ;) Edit: I hate you Shadow Fox :p |

Onimusha Street Fighter Resident Evil Maximo Breath of Fire (Just like Crono said, this series kicks ass) Megaman (That's there main mascot..*drools for Megaman Legends 3*) Power Stone (One of the best multi-player games ever!) Dino Crisis (I don't really care about this series though) Final Fight And there are way more. |
Well guys, I did a little research. I found out Capcom's stock symbol is CCOEF.
I went to the different sites, but none of them recognized the symbol. Hmm? Finally I checked at Yahoo finance, and they had something... it was changed to CCOEF.PK, for reasons inknown. So I look at the table... and.. well, see for yourself: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=CCOEF.P...y&l=on&z=l&q=l See, it goes up, and up, and up, and up, and it's at $28 at the moment. BUT, the chart stops at July. Which is also when Nintendo would have sold Rare. I'm getting suspicious. In that time, Capcom could've created those demos for the Capcom 5 with the Gamecube, and would have had a good start already. Not to mention the decreasing support for the other consoles... I don't recall them mentioning anything for the Xbox after Tekki other than CVS2 Online. And, PS2, well, they have some games announced.. well... Hmm... If magazine editors are true to their words like they are, they write the magazine a month early, maybe more. If someone on the inside got away and heard about this buyout, told the japanese magazine, and was published the following month. Then we hear of the Capcom Five a couple months later. And, ba-boom, a month before the big DMC2 is released, or is supposed to be released, they make the announcement: which is also planned very close to Christmas. Coinkidink? ;) Also, if an anonymous company bought Sega off of CSK, who was it? That's another thing I'd like to know. But, who knows.. the market is a mysterious place. |
