Chrono Cross had excellent graphics for it's time. The detail in the monsters were very nice, and they put the Playstation hardware to full use. But, yeah, compared to today's standards, of course it doesn't look as well as it has..

Yeah, Garai and Dario were pretty cool. They were also both challenging fights, although Garai was a lot easier. But to beat Dario all you needed really was a black plate, then it was easy as hell.

I beat Dario with and without the plate :p

Garai seemed more of a challenge than Dario with a black plate.

I don't like Chrono Cross all that much, but I'd still say that it's better than the Bible.

i think that chrono trigger on the SNES is better that chrono cross
